?They had sent him into the land of Dan to give a petition onto the Father trying to find forgiveness and length on the earth. They couldn't look upon the Father nor lift up their eyes to Heaven because of the sins they committed. They asked Enoch to intercede on their behalf.
?When he reached them, they were afraid and trembling. He gathered them to give the verdict sent from God.
?Enoch explained that he went to sleep reading the petition and was taken to a place within the abyss, where there was no heaven or an earth beneath. There was no water upon it nor birds in the air. It was a chaotic, horrible and wasted place at the end of heaven and earth.
?Uriel stood guard over the abyss which housed seven stars like great burning mountains with descending columns of fire, neither the extent or magnitude he could fathom. It was an endless spectacle of pain.
?In the vision, the clouds invited him and the mist summoned him; the stars and lightening sped and made haste unto him. The wind lifted him up and bore him unto heaven.
?He was now in a place where the walls were made of crystal and he went into a tongue of fire. The house, in the distance, was made of crystal and the walls like a tessellated floor. The ceiling was like the path of the stars and lightening, between them were fiery cherubim. Heaven was clear as water.
?Flaming fire surrounded the walls, the portals ablaze. It was hot as fire and cold as ice at the same time.
?He then heard the voice that called him near to hear the words he would take back to the fallen angels.
?He was to tell them that angels were supposed to intercede for man, not man interceding for angels. They left the high, holy and eternal Heaven only to come to earth and defile themselves and bore giants as their sons.
?They were immortals, living a spiritual and holy life in Heaven for all generations of the world, therefore He had not appointed wives for them for this reason. For the spiritual ones of Heaven, there is their dwelling place.
?They had been in Heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed unto them. They were only shown the worthless secrets, which they then shared with mankind. For this, they will have no peace.
?They had incurred God's wrath by mixing with the mortal women and following the course of humanity. They will be removed from their positions of authority and be bound alone in the depths of the earth.
?The four winds, that bear heaven and earth, will take you and you will be divided unto the four corners of the earth and buried deep. This will be a place of nothingness and here you will remain until the day of judgment.
?For Azazel, the one whom they ascribe all sin, he will remain in the deepest part of the earth, where there will be no light. He will be there until the day of judgment then thrown in the pit of fire.
Chapter Twenty Six
Brenton
Brenton was ready to get the show on the road. He had trained all his life and being attacked by Azazel's children was the first real encounter he had at combat. He messed up and didn't follow what he learned, but he wouldn't fail this time. Not while Marie's life was at stake.
?She had a look in her eye that concerned him. She was blocking him from her thoughts and that worried him, too. He couldn't imagine having that kind of ultimatum hanging over his head; turn yourself over and save your parents or refuse and they all die.
?He wanted to comfort her, but he didn't know her mood or how she would take it. He couldn't stand being rejected by her. She was apprehensive and fidgety. Everything was moving too slow for her. She was ready to go and get this over with.
?The question still remained lingering in the air, what would they do when they found Azazel's prison? They knew they had to stop him from escaping, but they didn't know how. This was brand new for all of them.Fortunately, Marie remembered Helena saying Nacole would be an asset. Bringing her would play a big role in the success of the mission.
?On the other hand, this could all be some trap. Brenton could be leading Marie right into his hands. She would be right there for the taking and no matter how strong they thought they were, he was stronger, bound or not.
?Brenton couldn't voice his concerns to Marie, she was too focused on saving her parents. Nothing he said would change that. He didn't care, he would follow her regardless. She needed him and he was determined to step up.
?Brenton reached out to Micheal and let him know what was going on. He was coming to help. He wanted to go on the journey and help Marie get her parents back. It would be easier to travel with him and Brenton trusted him to guide them through this situation.
?Marie's uncle came back in the room. Brenton was relived, he needed some kind of conversation to break the tension in the room.
?“Everything should be ready for your travel. Micheal just arrived. He and Rochelle will get you to Sydney within seconds. You can take with you whomever you choose, but I feel Jewel and DeShon would be a great help to you,” he said.
?Brenton didn't have a problem with that. The more the merrier. They had no idea what waited for them when they got there. Their strength would be in numbers.
?So far, Nacole, Wayne and Sky agreed to go. Obviously her Uncle Josh had spoken to Jewel and Deshon. Terel didn't want to leave the house, he wasn't sure of his powers like the others were. Micheal and Rochelle would be their transportation. Marchell and Nathaniel wanted to get out of the house and do some real sparring. They only cared about the fight, which didn't bother Brenton in the least. He wanted some savages on their side. They would make a great team; all of the elements coming together. Maybe they had a chance after all.
?Marie tried to plaster a smile on her face, but Brenton knew she was afraid.
?“Nacole has comprised a map of the places you should check first. Her powers are not as strong as her mothers, but she should be able to sense things coming and give you a few minutes notice, maybe more,” her uncle said handing her the map. “Now, I hate to rush you off, but time is of the essence.”
?Marie nodded and started gathering her backpack. Her uncle motioned for him to come to the hall. Brenton looked back at Marie before exiting her room and closing the door behind him.
