“Good to see you,” Cyrus said. When he went for my cheek like Enzo had, I turned my face so I could feel his lips on mine, then smirked with a raised brow at his almost shy smile. The alpha was the sweetest of the three, yet I could see the heat in his eyes as though he was constantly holding back from what he really wanted.
I didn’t want him to hold back. Didn’t need him to. My body was built for alphas, and I was more than ready to be with all four of them if for no other reason than to see my girl fall apart around their cocks while I took a knot from one of them.
They usually wore slacks while working the club. “Are you two officially off the clock tonight?” I yelled over the music.
“Technically, but we’re never really off when the doors are open,” Cyrus yelled back.
Sure, it would have been nice to hang out without having to constantly yell back and forth, but this place was amazing. As were the dancers who performed a few times throughout the night.
One could say I was biased since one of my prospective alphas was one of said dancers, but the show was actually really cool.
“This place is amazing,” I said, leaning closer to Enzo.
“They own a couple strip clubs, too,” Issa said with a smile, squeaking when Enzo poked her ribs. “What? You do.”
“We own them but don’t work them,” Cyrus said.
“Strippers as in naked women? Or…”
“Both,” Issa said. “But I haven’t been to the others yet. I only come here with them.”
And from what I’d learned from her through our phone conversations and texting, that was usually rare.
She’d admitted to having borderline agoraphobia, but mostlybecause she’d been afraid of alphas, afraid her former alpha might see her in public, just…afraid.
But Enzo, Ax, and Cyrus were gradually teaching her to trust them to protect her.
“Guess what?” she said, leaning into my side.
I tilted my head down, my grin stretching at the beatific smile she gave me. “What?”
“I got a job.”
My brows shot to my hairline. She’d wanted a job since she’d never been permitted in her past, but her fear had kept her from even driving herself anywhere or going out alone.
“Where?”
She pulled away and stretched her arms wide. “I’m the new server. I’m going to work three nights a week when they’re here,” she said, jerking her head toward Enzo and Cyrus, and I assumed Ax was included in that.
“That’s awesome! I’m so fucking proud of you!”
I drew her closer, wrapped my arms around her back, and lifted her feet from the ground. Her sweet giggle in my ear was the most beautiful music.
When I set her down, she wrapped her arms around my waist. “Will you come in on the days I work?”
“Hell yes, I will.”
She’d told me a little about her family, about her youngest and only sister Cora, about how her only omega sibling had actually had the opportunity to go out to clubs and have friends.
Issa had never had that opportunity since her parents had bonded her straight out of school. She was only in her mid-twenties but was finally getting the chance to experience a real life, a life with people who cared for her and wanted her to have anything and everything she could have ever dreamed of having.
And my sweet beta didn’t dream of luxury trips or expensive clothes. She wanted freedom and independence. She wanted love. She wanted to figure out who she was away from the claws of the Alvarez name.
“Oh! And did you see?” She tilted her neck and pointed to the mark.
“Of course, I saw that. It’s like a fucking beacon.” I pressed my lips directly over it before pulling back. “I can’t wait to see you wearing a necklace of bonding marks.”
I winked at Enzo and Cyrus, who were watching us with matching smiles.
