“Oh! Oh! Oh!” Her volume grows with every thrust that slides in an inch deeper than before.

My balls tighten, my chest burns, and my fingernails dig into the tender flesh of her hips. I’m already seconds away from blowing and I know I won’t be able to contain it.

“Fuuuuuck meeee.” It’s a plea, a long, low guttural plea that sends me over the edge. Her walls clench and pulse, her pussy spasming around my cock as she milks every last drop from me.

When I pull myself from her, I collapse down onto the bed, both of us panting and sweaty.

“Goddamn,” I gasp, my hand resting on her still pink ass. “You’re going to fucking destroy me.”

She lets out a soft giggle, turning to look at me. Her hair is wild, her mascara smeared. “I think you rearranged my organs.”

“I think you’ve rewired my brain.”

We both stare at each other, basking in the postcoital glow.

“You’ve rewired mine.”

“Yeah?” She nods. “How so?”

“You’ve helped me believe in myself again, something I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do after what my dad and now Connor did to me.”

“Confidence looks good on you.” I smooth away her messy hair. “You deserve that. You deserve to be happy and loved for who you are. Don’t ever make yourself small or less than for someone.”

Aspen curls her body into mine, her eyes slowly drifting closed. “Hold me, please.”

“Forever, baby.” I wrap my body around hers. “You’ll always be safe in my arms.” Just before she falls asleep, she opens her eyes one more time to look at me.

“Karma always finds a way, right?” I hold her closer, kissing the top of her head as we settle against each other.

“Yes, baby. Karma always finds a way.”

Chapter 21

Aspen

Six months later…

“Ijust can’t believe how adorable they are.”

My voice has reached that high-pitched, squealing tone that all women seem to get when staring at the face of not one but two chubby-cheeked little boys.

“Makes you just want to pinch them, doesn’t it?” Harper says as she runs the back of her fingers against Blaire and Jimmy’s baby boy Finn. “Also makes my ovaries do that thing where they scream at me for another one.”

“I heard that,” Luka says as he joins her. “And I’m right on board with you.”

“Who wants to hold him?” Juliette says, coming up behind us with her own new baby boy, Archer Rockwell, in her arms. “Now that he’s been fed, burped, and changed, he’s ready to knock out in someone else’s arms so mommy can take a little break.”

“Me!” Harper scoops him up, cooing and planting kisses on his soft, warm skin.

“What about your ovaries?” Harvey murmurs in my ear once I step away from the group. “Are they screaming at you?”

I can’t keep the grin off my face when he says things like that. It’s not the first time he’s mentioned babies with me or marriage or anything else that would have most men screaming and running for the hills.

“Maybe.” I say, glancing over my shoulder quickly.

“You still want to keep things on the down-low?” I can see a look of disappointment on his face.

“Hey, Harv!” Luka motions with his hand. “I need your expertise for the steaks, my man.”
