"You might as well just say a year, Ro. We all know you'll just keep pushing it off," Lucas informs me.
I elbow him in the gut, making him grunt. "Get off me."
"No can do. I need all my omega touches before she leaves," he responds, eyes still closed and face smushed into the same damn pillow as me.
Freya's fingertips drag along my chest, soothing me before I hit my little brother again. "What do you guys want to do with your lives?" she asks softly.
I frown, caught off guard, but respond first. "I want to find another teaching job after the summer is over. Just not sure what age range yet."
She nods against me and hums.
"I want to go back to school. I feel like I'm missing so much, then I want to continue my education when I figure out my passion," Casey says thoughtfully, petting her long locks.
"Really?" she asks, twisting to look at him.
The beta's eyebrows scrunch together. "Is that okay?"
Freya's head moves back like she's really taking him in. "Of course, I just..."
"You what?" I push.
She nibbles her lip for a moment before letting out a deep sigh and sitting up. "I don't think I can go back to school. The idea of walking through hallways, or being stuck on a campus again..."
"Most schools never force their students to stay on campus, but I'll be doing online anyway, baby girl. I don't want to be away from you guys." Casey looks at me, and I nod, letting him know I approve.
Still nibbling on that damn lip, I sit up and pluck it from between her teeth. "Online would always be an option for you too, Star. Is there something else you had in mind for the future, though?"
"It's dumb," she grumbles.
Lucas laugh, leaning against the headboard. "I doubt that very much, sweetheart. I won't be going back to school. If anyone’s dream is dumb, it's mine. I just want to coach football."
My eyes widen. "What age?"
He shrugs. "All of them."
"Luke, that's awesome!" I congratulate and slap him on the shoulder. Everyone gives him their own form of approval and happiness.
Freya still doesn't seem open to sharing, so I look to Elliott. "What about you, Eli?"
Running his hand through his dark ringlets, he sighs. "I have no idea. I was thinking about looking into the gyms in town and maybe start some training programs or figure out what Cape Charles is lacking."
"I love that!" Freya beams.
Elliott gives her an embarrassed smile and waves it off. "Your turn, Ray."
"Fine.” She sighs. "I've had the same dream for years. I just want to make coffee and tea in a small town on the beach."
"Well, shit, we live in the perfect place!" Casey says with an excited grin.
Freya blushes. "It's not, I don't know, lame? You guys are all wanting to do such amazing things and I... it seems lazy."
"Absolutely not, Omega," I growl and drag her onto my lap. "I think it suits you wonderfully, and you will always have the opportunity to change your mind or add new stuff."
The guys all nod in agreement, touching her in some way to show their support and happiness for her.
Blowing out a breath, she pushes on my arm. "Okay, I'll think about it. Let me up. I have to get ready for my date with Kate."
Freya ignores my grumbles of protest as she crawls across the bed, slick still dripping down her thighs, and disappears naked into the hallway. A series of turned on groans fill the bedroom and she's back with a stack of clothes in her hands.
