“Mama… want Disneyland?” Luna babbles at Austin, with a toothy smile on her face which is extremely irresistible.

“Can I escape this one?” Austin asks me, a pleading smile on his lips.

“Well, I do not know, I mean, you can't refuse, aren't those eyes magical? Just see her cute smile, you know she looks exactly like you,” I say with a convincing smile of my own and grab Austin’s hand, knowing I have him cornered.

“You think so?” he asks, his eyes hopeful.

“I know so,” I reply without hesitating. The waitress brings in our order in no time to serve us.

“I think she likes you, Austin,” I say jokingly, as the waitress is within earshot of our table.

“Who?” Austin asks curiously, as he starts digging into his food.

“The waitress, of course. The waitress pays more attention to you and the smiles she gives you. I think you should talk to her, get her number or something. I need nieces and nephews.” I tease as I set Luna and Isla up to have their breakfast.

“Well, we can't be too sure,” He quickly says, and I know he's hiding something.

“Austin?” I call quirking a brow as I start munching on my food.

“Okay…” He trails and I know I'll be liking this gist. I smile, urging him to go on.

“Well, she seems like a nice person, and I know I like her, but then it's just a crush. You know I come here often, but I haven’t had the courage to walk up to her,” he admits.

“I see, someone's shy, man up, big brother, she doesn’t look like she bites.” I laugh lightly.

“Yeah, sure,” Austin mutters and continues eating. I know he is trying to avoid the conversation, but I can see the smile at the corner of his lips. He is so good at hiding his feelings.

My phone rings and I look to see the caller, “It's Ted,” I whisper to Austin, as I pick up my phone.

“Where the hell are you and the girls?!” He yells on the phone.

“We went to grab a bite with Austin,” I reply, trying to keep the information at a minimum.

“Really? You choose Austin over me?” he asks, sounding displeased.

“You know it's not that way babe,” I lower my voice and let out a sigh, “I just wanted alone time with my brother to iron some things out,” I explain to him, as I hear him heave out a sigh from the other side of the phone.

“Can you guys come back already, please,” Ted says, and I can hear the frustration in his voice. “It's crazy without you guys here.”

“We’re having an uncle and nieces bonding session, no third party,” Austin.

“Fuc—” Ted starts saying but stops himself. I'm sorry. Just bring my angels back, that’s all. Take your sister,” he says, and my heart tugs a bit.

“Are you serious?” I cut in, “Wow, it's fine. I'm bringing back the girls and I'll just take my belongings and go.”

“I was kidding, babe. I’m not losing you again. I'm waiting for you guys,” Ted says before ending the call. I know we need to get back home soon.

The girls finish up and the waitress takes the plates away.

Austin pays for our meal, and we walk out of the restaurant and start making our way to the car when I excuse myself. “I need to use the restroom really quick; I'll meet you guys in the car,” I say and walk back quickly into the restaurant.

I walk up to the waitress. “Hi, excuse me, please,” I say, calling the waitress's attention. So, I'll just go straight to the point. My brother seems to come here often, and I see the way he looks at you. So, if you do not mind, I'd love to invite you to my wedding, which is coming up soon, if you'll be kind enough to give me your number so I can send an invite.”

She smiles at me, and I notice a light dimple, which adds to her already pretty face, “Thank you and congratulations, I will be there, your brother seemed like a nice man.” She blushes and I confirm it's mutual.

“He definitely is,” I confirm, and we both laugh and hug quickly after she gives me her number. “Bye, darling; see you later,” I say before walking out of the restaurant and getting into the car.

“That was a long one,” Austin says looking suspiciously at me,
