“Oh...muh...gah...” I moaned as I took another bite. I missed pizza in the Midwest. The thin stuff on the East Coast couldn’t compare.

“So good. This is what I think of when I imagine home,” he sighed as he eyed the pizza adoringly.

I giggled, readjusting my legs across his lap and leaning my head on his shoulder. “Not your family? Just pizza?”

“You’ve met Kelly,” he laughed.

“She’s awesome. I always wanted a sister,” I sighed. Two older brothers were a lot to grow up with.

“You can have mine,” he offered.

“Maybe we can share.”

He took our plates, put them on the table in front of him, lifted me by the waist, and turned me to straddle him.

“You know I love you.” He swallowed hard before he licked his lips and sighed.

“I do,” I nodded. “You alright?”

“I might have done something.” I raised an eyebrow at him. He looked a little guilty.

“Which was?”

“On the last day in Chicago...”

I nodded. “The day where we have mysterious plans?”

He nodded as he rubbed his thumbs along the waistband of my panties. “I invited our families to come to see us.”

I wasn’t expecting that. My brothers and their partners had full-time jobs, and my dad still worked. They’d all implied on the phone that they wouldn’t have time to visit while I was close to home.

“Really?”

“You’re not mad?” he asked nervously.

I shook my head as a wide smile spread across my face. My hands cupped his jaw, and I leaned forward to kiss his lips softly. “Of course not. I have no idea how you managed to do it, but I’ll take it.”

“I knew you missed seeing them halfway across the country,” he said quietly.

“You’re amazing,” I sighed as I cupped his jaw and looked into his eyes.

“We’ll see if you’re still saying that when you’re trying to escape my parent’s house full of people,” he laughed.

“As long as my niece is there, I won’t even notice,” I smiled.

“Just your niece? No one else can hold your attention?” he teased.

I hummed as I pretended to think about it. His hands pulled my hips flush with his, and he flexed up into me. “No one else is coming to mind.”

“Hmm,” he hummed. “Maybe I need to remind you who else will be there...”

I arched my back, and my head fell backward as he nuzzled into my neck, running his nose and lips slowly up the underside of my jaw.

“Mmm. Miguel isn’t into girls,” I sighed with a little moan at the end. While one of my favorite people in the world, my brother’s husband was sickeningly into him.

Evan ghosted his lips along the soft skin at the front of my throat, earning himself another moan. “Oh God.”

“Hmmm...he won’t be there either...” he whispered as he sucked on the skin where my collarbones met.
