“Fuck off,” Trav grumbles as I grin.

“Okay then, fun it is. What kind of fun?” I ask as I look around, and they all get these weird smiles on their lips that make me pull back. “Oh God, I’m going to hate it, aren’t I?”

They stand, still grinning creepily. “Guys . . . Guys, wait, where are we going?” I call, but they leave the kitchen.

Oh fuck, it can’t be anything good.

Oh well, into the fire I go.

The sign proudly displays “Devil’s Play” as I gawk at the secret world spread out before me. We had to hand in our phones after proving who we were at multiple doors. There is security everywhere, but no cameras.

There are four pools that I can see, with slides, bars, a dance floor, and a private beach. There is apparently even laser tag, paintball, and ax throwing inside.

It’s basically a playground for the rich, a place where they can have fun without prying eyes. I love it.

“Come on.” Trav grins at me. “You can relax here. There are rules in place to protect members. Everyone here is famous in some regard and appreciates their privacy, so we are just normal people today. We can drink, party, and play all we want.”

I let him lead me farther toward one of the pools, glad I put on a black string bikini under my band T-shirt dress.

“What do you want to do first?” Chase grins. Wearing a black button-down, swim shorts, and flip-flops, he looks casual and yet screams money and sex. For a moment, I forget how to breathe.

“You’re catching flies,” he teases, and I snap my mouth shut, pretending to scan the place for what I want to do first when in reality, I’m trying to remember how to breathe.

“Travy!” a female shouts, and we all turn. My eyes widen at the ball of energy who flings herself at him. Laughing, he grabs her and swings her around.

“What are you doing here?” he asks, smiling so widely that envy fills me.

She pulls away, grinning. “I was bored,” she replies and waves at Kolton. “Hey, Kolt.” She turns to Chase, and for a moment, her smile falters before she quickly side hugs him. “Chase.”

“How are you?” Kolt asks, happy to see her.

Unease builds in my chest, and I hate it. Trav clings to the woman like a lifeline while I awkwardly stand here. Shit, was this the woman from last night?

Her eyes land on me and light up. “You must be Beck!” She pushes them aside and yanks me into a bear hug. Despite being half my size and barely touching five feet, she is strong as hell. She looks familiar, but I don’t know why until she pulls back. “I’m Ila, Trav’s sister.”

Oh, I’m ashamed to admit that I’m relieved as Trav wraps his arm around her. “Let her breathe, Ila. Beck, this is my little sister.”

“Nice to meet you,” I say truthfully.

“Come on, let’s go have some fun. It’s been too long since I’ve seen all of you.” She grabs my hand and yanks me through the crowd. I spot four guys watching her carefully from across the pool, and she blows them a kiss as she drags us to a table in the shade and sits down, ordering shots.

My eyebrows rise. She’s, well, a lot, but as I eye her, I see the same smile Trav has curling her lips.

“I’ve been where you are,” she tells me as we sit. “I’ll tell you all their dirty little secrets so you can use them to bribe them,” she teases, and my smile freezes. “Oh, don’t worry, they aren’t bad guys, just annoying.”

Nodding, I down the shot that arrives while she shoots three. “Slow down, little one.” Chase grins, and she gives him a familiar grin. I tilt my head, looking between them.

Wow, he really does sleep with anyone. It taints my appreciation of him today, and I move closer to Kolton, who is looking over a cocktail menu. “What do you want to do first?” I ask, sucking in his calming whiskey scent.

He always smells so good, and in his open blue shirt and matching trunks, he looks it. All his golden skin is on display. I almost passed out when I saw the deep V leading into his shorts, not to mention his abs, but I keep my eyes on his face. He’s been used for his body, and I won’t be like them.

Kolton Haynes is a masterpiece, but he wants to be more than that, and I’m determined to help him.

“We should use the water slides. They are amazing,” he replies, grinning like a kid, and I wonder if he ever got to have fun as a child. “Trav loves the games inside though, so we’ll do that too. You should pick something.”

“Um, I’m happy doing anything,” I admit shyly, completely overwhelmed.

I startle when his hand clutches mine under the table, his fingers interlacing with mine. “You can pick something, no need to worry. That’s what today is about, learning what we like and playing together.” It shouldn’t be dirty, but when he grins shyly at me, I know he meant it.
