I grasp her chin firmly. “And if I want to marry you because I love you? Because you’re the mother of my child? Because I want a family with you? I want to be everything for you, Kira. I want to be there to raise Nadia and watch her grow into a beautiful, strong woman like her mother. And I want to make more beautiful babies with you when you’re ready. So I’m seriously asking. Will you marry me, Kira?”

Her eyes are dark and intense as she looks at me in wonder. “Yes.”

My mouth quirks up into a smile. “Yes?”

She grins. “Yes.” Her eyes trail down my body. Her eyes on my cock make him stand to attention again. She bites into her lip and looks up at me. “Now claim what’s yours.” She lays back and spreads her legs in invitation, which only makes me harder for her.

I fist my cock and run it through her wet folds, teasing her clit with it. “Oh, I’m going to. Over.” I slide in and she moans. “And over.” I pump into her slowly and she writhes against me. “And over.” I lean into her and kiss her deeply. “Forever.”

She moans into my thrusts, her nails raking down my back. “Yes, God, please, yes. Forever, Sebastian. Promise me forever again.”

And as I make love to her all night, I promise it to her over and over. Because we were meant for each other. Only fate could’ve brought us together like this. Only fate could have made Nadia my daughter. And as sweet as words whispered while I’m inside her are, I fully intend to make good on that promise every day for the rest of forever.

EPILOGUE

KIRA

Four years later…

“Daddy, Tia Isabel said I could have two pieces of cake!” Nadia exclaims happily to my husband.

Sebastian shakes his head and glares daggers across the backyard at his eldest sister, who just smirks back at him as all three of her kids dance circles around her. His gaze shifts to me in an unmistakable “Can you believe her?” look.

I shift Diego to my other shoulder and shrug, trying not to smile. Isabel is always trying to wind Sebastian up and I not-so-secretly find it hilarious.

One of the many pleasant surprises I received when I joined this family and married Sebastian three years ago.

“Do you want me to take him?” Maria asks, sidling up to me.

I throw her a grateful smile and heft the baby into her arms.

“Oof,” she jokes. “I always forget how substantial he is for a ten-month-old.”

“He’s a whole lotta love,” I reply, booping him on the nose. “I’m going to go talk Sebastian off the ledge.”

Maria laughs. “Good luck with that. Isabel’s been poking at him all day.”

I smile and leave her to baby-duty which, despite her being so darn good at it that it’s been her career for years, she’s yet to have any of her own. Sebastian’s parents aren’t happy about that, but she’s happy being the awesome auntie she is, and I can’t say I mind all the help she gives.

“Honey,” I say softly, touching Sebastian on the shoulder.

He turns toward me, a smile breaking over his handsome face. Then it drops. “Where’s Diego?” he asks.

I turn and point to Maria who waves at him, rolling her eyes. He’s such a protective daddy.

Sebastian cocks an eyebrow at me. “You’re baby free?”

I laugh. “And Nadia has gone to play with her cousins,” I point out, raising an eyebrow back.

He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me to him. “Mmmm,” he murmurs, leaning in to kiss my neck. “Maybe we should sneak away and get some time just for us.”

“Hey, keep it in your pants, hermanito,” Isabel snaps as she walks by. “This is a kid’s birthday party for fuck’s sake.”

I burst out laughing at her obvious hypocrisy as Sebastian starts yelling after her in Spanish. Which I’ve learned enough of by now to know it’s nothing nicer than what she just said in English.

“Hey, the kids can understand Spanish too,” I remind him.

He frowns and makes a rude gesture at Isabel, effectively ending the argument.
