Another piece of me shattered away, irrevocably gone, as I remade myself in her image, for the task I didn’t know I was born to provide.

Xerxes commented that he’d technically killed the fucker, and I swallowed down a hiss as I yanked on his leash.

The omega might also be mine, and Sadie might tolerate his masochist ass, but I was her main protector.

He pushed it open, and it took my eyes a second to comprehend what I was seeing. I’d expected a similar scene with flashing lights and pounding music.

It was pitch black.

Dead silent.

Ascher’s and Jax’s hands rested on my lower back, and I was grateful for the contact.

Something clacked to my right, and I swiveled my head.
