Page 35 of Deadliest Throne

We spend the next few hours buying everything and more than what’s needed for the baby. Even spoiling Andrew too.

By the time we’re done, we’ve pretty much filled a whole van.

Link stands behind said van, eyeing everything up.

“You good?” I ask him.

“I think we’re missing something. I just don’t know what.”

“Babe, I’m pretty sure you got at least one of every single item in the store.” I laugh, finding it cute that he’s so worried.

“Nope. I forgot something.” He turns on his heel and storms back into the store.

“Where is he going?” Hunter asks, closing the van’s door.

“Said he forgot something.” I shrug and walk over to the car. Travis opens the door for me, and I smile. “Thank you, baby.” I lean in for a kiss, my body coming to life the moment his lips meet mine.

Once I’m in and buckled, Link gets into the driver’s side. He turns and hands me a bag. I raise a brow and peek in as he starts the car and pulls out of our parking spot.

“Oh my god,” I whisper, my heart growing three times bigger when I pull out an adorable pink and white penguin. “This is so damn cute.”

“I thought Baby Bird deserved a baby bird,” he mutters. Holy fucking shit, why am I so damn turned on right now. Any time I see the sweet side of this man, I’m a fucking puddle, in more than one way.

“She’s going to love it,” I tell him, petting the soft fur.

My eyes meet his in the rearview mirror, and I smile. He holds my stare for a moment before his eyes return to the road. He can hide it all he wants, but he’s a goner for our kids.

When we get home, the guys start to bring things inside, but I take Quinton’s hand and pull him inside.

“Where are you going?” Link asks, a box in hand.

“Inside,” I tell him. “You boys got this, right?”

"Why isn't he helping?" Link glares at where our hands are joined. Quinton looks a little confused, not sure what I'm up to but says nothing to stop me.

“Because we’re going to go inside, to my room, and cuddle.” I shrug. “I want some time alone with him.” Link opens his mouth to argue, but I hold my hand up. “You steal me away all the time. You will survive without me for a night.”

Link growls and Hunter barks out a laugh. “Oh, this is fucking awesome.”

“Fuck off!” Link snaps at his brother.

“Only fucking happening tonight is Q-man and our girl getting it on.” Hunter turns to me and grins. “Make sure to ride him real good. I wanna see those tits bounce.”

I’m confused for a moment, wondering how he would see that. I close my eyes and shake my head, remembering the fact he has a camera in my room. “What are you going to do, jerk off while you watch?” The smile on my face is devilish.

“Wouldn’t be the first time.” He licks his lips and grins. “Won’t be the last.”

“Pervert.” I laugh.

“Only for you, Little Mouse. Always for you.”

Shaking my head, I pass Taylor, who has a sleeping Andrew strapped inside his car seat. I give my little man a kiss on the forehead, taking a moment to admire his cute little face.

“We got him, Foxy Girl.” Taylor kisses my temple. “Go relax.”

The only thing is, I don't want to relax. I'm still too wired from the excitement of the shopping trip. Instead of heading upstairs, I lead Q through the house and out the back. He doesn't ask questions, just following my lead until we stop in front of the porch swing.

I take a seat on the comfortable cushion and look up at him. “Sit with me and watch the sunset?”
