My imagination started to fit the three of us together in different ways. I wiggled and pinched myself.

Focus.

With an oddly adorable doggie huff, Vac settled in front of us. Tanwyn placed a book on my lap and opened it to a random page.

“That’s not the right—”

The summoner slipped his hand up my skirt and caressed my slick panties.

My core throbbed, and my face heated. “Wyn, we’re in public.”

“Wyn,” Tanwyn purred. “My nickname.”

He leaned forward and kissed me, his long tongue licking the seam of my lips. I parted them, but he broke the kiss and sat back, pressuring my clit with his fingers. I sucked in a breath as heat enveloped my body.

“If you say stop, I’ll stop. Otherwise, pretend you’re reading.” He smirked. “What’s the point of having five hot, powerful mages at your beck and call if you don’t use them?”

“You’re not at my—” before I could finish the sentence, Tanwyn’s cool hand slid between my hot, slick thighs and rocked across my honey pot. My magic surged, silencing my complaints.

He shifted his hips, and my traitorous legs inched open.

“Don’t forget your reading.” He trailed his lips down my neck and rocked his wrist.

Heat billowed from his motions. I fumbled the book.

My heartbeat raced, waiting for someone to find my little corner. My excited fear rushed through my veins, sending heated sparks exploding under my skin. I moaned before biting my lips shut. Tanwyn leaned closer, inching my thighs further apart allowing him to toy with my clit. He slid, pulled, and patted until I panted, racing towards my climax. My knuckles turned white where I gripped my book, desperate not to make a noise or move my hips as his fingers drove me over the edge.

A little orgasm rocked my world. I squeaked, dropping the book.

“Adorable.” Tanwyn placed a hand on my cheek, turning my beet-red face. He kissed the tip of my nose. “What unit are you on?”

“Ah,” I said, trying to focus. “Your unit?”

Tanwyn smiled, his eyes twinkling. “Always thinking about others.” He licked his bottom lip, scanning me from head to toe, before sighing. “This wasn’t about me, and I don’t expect anything back.” He kissed me again. “I’m in your harem now. You’ll balance it. I trust you.” Making a claw with his hand, he gently twisted my head, so I faced my dropped book. “What page?”

Worry fluttered in my chest. I had no idea how to balance a harem. I chewed my lower lip, focusing on anything but my unease. “We’re looking at truth tables, page 72. Shouldn’t we talk about my socket?”

Tanwyn shook his head. “When you have access to the restricted section. You said you found the drawing of a prototype, right? Be patient.”

I bobbed my head and snuggled into his side, pointing to the book.

He absently traced patterns on my arms as we read together. At first, I asked him every question which came to mind, but many of his answers didn’t help me understand more than reading the book.

“So,” I bit my lower lip. “It’s only possible to argue about something if we define it first?”

Tanwyn tapped the book. “We make arguments based on statements made which declare something.”

“Right.” I scratched my nose. “You’ve said that three times.”

Tanwyn sighed. “Yordle could explain this better than me.”

I poked my nose, wondering how Alice would respond to the spider-goblin. “Maybe the library isn’t the best place for everything.”

Tanwyn chuckled and pulled my fingers away from my face to kiss them. “Truth tables are mostly used for logic puzzles and computer programming, anyway. Maybe we should take a break.”

Professor Garnet cleared his throat and pulled up a seat in front of us. Heat rushed to my cheek, but he only smiled and wiggled his eyebrows.

Tanwyn kissed my fingers again before sliding out from beside me to perch on the edge of our couch. He closed my book with a dramatic snap. “I have a theory about Dot’s magic. It’s not magic. It’s raw power.”
