“I set the limits,” Professor Garnet snarled, pressing the rod into Officer Keres. “Aphy’s mine.”

My magic sang, this I wanted this so badly.

The room stopped shaking as Professor Garnet twitched. He dropped the rod, backing away from Officer Keres. My power crackled in his hair and he ran his splayed fingers through it before curling them and yanking.

“Damn it,” Professor Garnet hissed. He picked up his phone and dialed. “Come get her, now.” He listened to his phone. “I don’t care. I’m relapsing.”

The professor sat down hard and my heart fell. I wrapped my arms around my knees to keep from running to him. I wanted him and he wanted me. Why couldn’t it be that simple?

Officer Keres stood. He rubbed his neck before recovering the rod. I expected him to point it at the professor but he belted it back to his waist.

He studied us. “You really could bring down the building,” he rasped.

Professor Garnet glared at him, still panting. “Easily.”

Officer Keres’ gaze slid to me, his eyes calculating. He straightened his uniform before loosening his collar. “Fine. Her sessions can be short. You set the limits, Keith. Can we do more than one a day?”

“Not at first.” Professor Garnet looked at his hands. My magic played between his fingers. “Not if she transfers.”

Officer Keres hesitated. “What if you complete the transfer?”

Professor Garnet’s glowing red rims bore into me. I leaned in his direction.

“I won’t,” Professor Garnet shook his head and stood, lurching away. “And Aphy wants to complete the transfer with whatever body she transferred into.”

His words stung, but he wasn’t wrong.

“Even if we’re both consenting,” the professor continued, “I will not sleep with someone who can’t say no. It might as well be rape. I will not be a part of that cycle.”

“But she can say no to others?” Officer Keres asked with his narrowed eyes on me.

I took a sharp breath. The heat coursing through my body relaxed slightly. “I’m right here. I can say no to whomever I want.”

Professor Garnet took a step toward me. “So, if I strip and offer myself right now, would you turn it down?”

I studied the layers of colorful carpets, my silence answer enough.

A heartbeat later, the door opened. Saffron, covered in sweat and dressed in his Alchemy t-shirt, came through the door. My vagina sang and I sagged in relief.

Professor Garnet groaned and took a step back. “Make sure Aphy goes straight to her tower.”

“Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars,” I said, trying to think of anything other than Professor Garnet’s dick. Would my magic still settle with only Saffron?

Saffron slid to my side. He gripped my bicep with both hands. Tingles of heat washed across my skin. I might’ve moaned.

“Saffron’s not MA,” Officer Keres stated. “An MA agent must accompany her at all times.”

Saffron pulled me into his embrace. “Then come with us.” His voice sounded flat, though his arms circled me protectively.

I cuddled into his side, already pawing at his clothing.

Officer Keres grimaced, gesturing to Professor Garnet. “I need to take measurements. You cannot be left to your own devices with this much magic inside you.” His face darkened as he looked at me again. “No single person should have this much power.…I didn’t even know it was possible.”

I pressed myself against the hard surface of Saffron. Officer Keres’ words should mean something to me, but they didn’t.

Professor Garnet paced the room like a caged tiger. He picked up the bag of cookies he’d placed on his desk and tossed it to Saffron without getting near us. I bit my lip in frustration as the Greek God nudged me toward the door. I took a final look at Professor Garnet’s heated gaze before kissing the base of Saffron’s neck.

“Don’t. Not here,” Saffron whispered, pulling away as he attempted to still my hands.
