“He’s not your type.”
“How do you know?”
Amelia grabbed the family photo off my desk.
“I just do.”
“What type of woman are you into?”
She gazed over at me.
“Women who can hold their own, speak their mind, but soft when my tongue is sending them into realms of pleasure they’ve never known.” I watched as her lips parted at my statement.
“Surprised.”
“Surprised by what?”
I took the photo out of her hand.
“The moment I spoke my mind, you fired me.”
At her statement, I watched the smirk dance across her face. I licked my lips and leaned in close, not sure if what I was doing made sense in my mind, or if we’d end this weird attraction before it started.
Amelia raised her hand and caressed my cheek.
“You’re a distraction.”
“You told me that excuse.”
“Then believe it.”
“Only if you kiss me.” She moved in so close, and I could tell her breathing rose in excitement.
Not one to be challenged, I cupped her chin and pecked her lips. She moaned, and my dick stood at attention. I used both hands and hovered over her mouth, sucking on her lips before slowly easing my tongue to open her.
“Mhmmmmm….” I groaned, deepening the kiss. I felt the goose bumps rise on her skin.
“I see your protection comes with perks.” Molly cleared her throat, and we pulled away. Amelia jumped off my desk in embarrassment. Nasir and Nicco grinned and stood behind her.
“Molly! You’re back.” Amelia ran and hugged her.
“Just in time to catch the show,” she teased.
Amelia looked from me to Molly.
“We were just talking,” Amelia said.
“Never talked to Molly like that,” Nicco joked, and Molly smacked him in the stomach.
“Shut up, Nicco,” Molly argued.
“Can you ladies excuse us for a moment?”
“I’ll be in my room.” Amelia walked out with Molly.
Amelia tried to distance herself after Molly, Nasir, and Nicco left a few hours ago. It was going on five in the afternoon, and we’d covered enough ground to have the airports, trains, and most of the police aware of what Addison and her team were up to. I stepped out of my bedroom after changing clothes and knocked on her door. I didn’t hear an answer, so I pushed forward and saw she wasn’t inside, but the shower was on. I started to leave to give her privacy.
“Hey, did you need something?”
