Edgar stood and raised his hands.

“Wait a minute, Adyin. You’re in my house. You should show my daughter and me some respect.”

“What does she have on you, Edgar?”

“Aydin, I have no clue what you think I’ve done, but I’ve been working on my campaign.”

Addison pulled out her phone and sat on the couch.

I snatched the phone out of her hand.

“Tristan didn’t show up for work yesterday.”

“Who?” She leaned her head to the side and tapped her finger on the couch.

“I think you should leave, Aydin.”

“I’m not leaving until she comes clean.”

“You can look at my phone records and email who I’ve been dealing with. Tristan is not on the list beyond the payment I sent to the firm,” Addison said.

Ring!

“Can I have my phone please?” She held her hand out.

“This isn’t over.”

She smirked and turned to talk on the phone. I left the house and got in the car with Nasir.

“What did she say?”

“Denied everything.”

“Tristan’s computer was pulled to get someone to go through his accounts.”

Nasir started the car when Addison came out of the house and got in her limo.

“Follow her.”

Nasir stayed two cars behind the limo as they drove through traffic.

“Did her father have anything to say?”

“Nothing worth using.”

The car pulled over in front of a bank, and the door was opened. Addison stepped out and hugged an older guy.

“Bet you she’s trying to get into her account.”

“Can you freeze her assets?”

“Let me text Carly.”

“The deeper this goes, we might need to call in more help.”

“Carly’s going to look into her business.”

“You have a copy of her upcoming events.”
