“I’ve had quite a few women in my life in the past, I don’t deny that, but not a single one of them has made me feel how you made me feel from a simple kiss. None. I can’t recall a single woman kissing me like that.”

“So, you’re basing all of this off a single kiss?” Paige laughed, pulling back a little. “Seriously?”

“Yes. I am. Because it’s that connection for me. So, I suggest you kiss me again to remind me why I’m so captured by you.” Juliet cocked her head, her eyes narrowed. “Unless you changed your mind?”

Paige opened her mouth to protest but fell short of any words. She leaned in, rolling her tongue across Juliet’s, gripping her thigh just the way she had on Thursday night.

“Mmm.” Juliet moaned, pulling Paige against her. The response she expected from that delicious mouth. “Exactly like that.”

“Y-you…you’re out of your mind.”

“Maybe I am, but it’s nice to be out of my mind for a little while.”

Paige leaned back in, shifting until Juliet was on her back, and Paige was braced above her. “Juliet…”

“What is it?” She held Paige’s gaze, noting the desire.

Paige leaned down, smiling against her lips as she whispered, “I want to touch you.”

“Where do you want to touch me, Paige?”

With a steady hand, Paige squeezed Juliet’s breast, grazing a thumb against her nipple. Juliet bent the knee between Paige’s legs, smirking when Paige rocked against her thigh, moaning. “All over.”

“Here? Now?”

“N-no.” Paige closed her eyes, her lips parted when she continued to rock back and forth. “Fuck, not here.”

God, just watching this woman enjoy life for a brief second turned Juliet on like never before. She lifted her head and took Paige’s bottom lip between her teeth, smirking when her breathing became laboured. “You need to come, don’t you?”

All Paige could manage was a barely audible “y-yes.”

“I’d love nothing more than to watch you come, Paige.” Juliet forced her hand between them, struggling past the waistband of Paige’s jeans. When she discovered Paige wasn’t wearing any underwear, Juliet melted into the couch. “Oh, you are just a delight.” Juliet almost came when her fingertips found scorching heat, a wetness she hadn’t known was possible. Paige’s clit throbbed against her fingers, the desire she had for this woman only increasing tenfold. “You feel so beautiful.”

“J-Juliet, oh, fuck.”

“Let go, Paige.” Paige’s arm shook where it was braced, her eyes slowly opening as she stared down at Juliet. “Go on. Let me feel you.”

“Oh, God.” Paige rocked harder; their eyes locked. When her body trembled, Paige’s mouth hanging open, Juliet could only grin and watch on with sheer delight. “Fuck, I’m coming.”

“Mm. For me. And what a gorgeous sight it is.” Paige shook against Juliet, her arm almost giving out. When she slowed the kiss and slumped against Juliet, Paige let out the most incredible moan. “Well, I didn’t expect the night to end like this.”

“I-I can’t believe that’s just happened.”

Wanting to remind Paige of exactly what had just happened, Juliet slid her hand from Paige’s pants and brought her fingers to her own lips. She drew her tongue up her fingers, licking Paige from them, and sighed. “Well, it did. And you taste amazing.”

Chapter 13

WHEREVER YOU WILL GO

Juliet closed her office door, checking the clock on the wall as she took a seat behind her desk. She had around thirty minutes before Paige arrived for her shift, neither of them knowing what today would bring. Would Paige be just as apprehensive as Juliet felt? She’d wanted to call Paige, more so to ask how she was feeling about Juliet knowing her home life situation, but she’d decided against it. After how their night had ended, Juliet wanted to give Paige some space to breathe.

Juliet laid in bed last night, truly shocked by the turn of events, so Paige had to be feeling immensely confused too. Perhaps confused was the wrong word, but…she would certainly be feeling something about it.

As she pulled herself closer to her desk, she brought up a familiar number on her speed dial.

“Yes?”

“It’s me.” She sat back, crossing her legs. “You may have noticed I have someone working at the bar.”
