Page 2 of Saving Her

“We may not have a choice, Gabby. At least not until Dragon and your father come after us.”

“You think they will be here soon?”

“With guns blazing. We just have to survive until then.”

“That might be easier said than done,” Gabby huffs. She wraps her arms around her body and looks around the cold, depressing room.

“We don’t have a choice,” I murmured, refusing to let the fear that I feel boil up inside of me. I have to contain it. I have no idea how I’m going to make Gabby listen to me, but I need to figure it out, and soon. Our lives are going to depend on the both of us keeping our heads straight and working together to survive this situation. Dragon will come for me. I know that with everything in me.

I just don’t know how long it will take him to get here …

Chapter 2

Dragon

“I’m not waiting!” I snarl at Ford. He has no idea what a twisted, sadistic bunch the Feral Kings MC is.

“I have a man on the inside, Dragon. If there’s hope of getting your woman, it’s him that will and can do it. If you go barging in now, you will do more harm than good,” Ford argues.

“A man on the inside? One man against the rest of them? If you think that will save my fucking woman, you’re insane. Eyeball is a fucking lunatic. I don’t want him breathing the same air as my woman!”

“Si. I want this fucker’s head on a motherfucking plato. No one touches my hija. Noone,” Skull joins in.

I want to tell him to shut the fuck up, but I can’t do that. As much as I never liked the girl, Gabby is his daughter. It might make me a monster, but I could not care less about the bitch. I just need my woman back. If Skull and his men are going to provide extra firing power to achieve that? So be it. I know for a fact that once I go in to get my woman, I’m going to make sure that nothing remains standing. I will burn that club to the ground and dismantle any remains of the clubhouse brick by brick.

“We need to wait until my guy can get to Nicole and the girl?—”

“The chica has a name. It’s Gabriella,” Skull growls, clearly close to his limit. “I am not waiting. I don’t know you or your man. I will not trust them to watch out for my hija. She is mine to protect.”

“So is my woman. We will ride like I said,” I growl. “You’re either with me or against me at this point,” I growl.

“D-Dad. Stop.”

I turn as T walks in with Dom. I can’t pretend that I like seeing another club’s cut on my son. It hurts less than it used to. Right now, my focus is on my woman, so I shake it off.

“Stop? This is your mother these fuckers have, T. Do you have any idea what they do to women? Hell, their president’s own sister has been in hiding from them for the last three years!”

My gut clenches and I try to ignore the burning I feel inside. There’s a need brewing inside of me for destruction. I will destroy these motherfuckers who tried to take my woman away from me.

“King will get to them. He will k-k-keep them safe and find a way to get them out of there.”

“King?” I bark, bitterness building so heavily that it’s choking me.

“D-Dad,” T sighs, but doesn’t say anything else.

“The kid hates me.”

“With good reason,” Ford mutters.

I glare at him, but don’t say shit, because for the most part he’s right.

“Ford, sh-shut it.”

The man grunts and T crosses his arms and looks at me. Again, I can see the man he has become, and I feel pride.

“King has been approached by the Feral crew numerous times. He’s been toying with them because we’ve had some issues that we think they’re responsible for. A few days ago, they told him they were coming after you. They knew everything about King. We don’t know who they got that information from. King has taken great pains to hide his past and I think you know what I’m gettin’ at here.”

“Everything?” I ask, looking at Ford.
