Raymond chuckled. “Nothing wrong with a nap.”

“Says the guy who teaches classes at five AM.”

“Exactly. You know that I sometimes take a nap in my studio or go home and crawl back into bed.”

“Point.”

“So? Sleep. I don’t mind.”

Josh rolled over so he was looking up at Raymond. He smiled, all slow and sleepy and warm. “I think I’d rather you kiss me.”

Raymond’s breath caught, all over again stunned at how beautiful Josh was, and how open he was willing to be. And hell if Raymond wasn’t going to take everything Josh was willing to give. “I can do that.”

They spent several long, lazy minutes just kissing, moving with each other until they’d shifted down so that Raymond was on his back on the couch with Josh spread out on top of him. Raymond couldn’t help himself with the new position, sliding a knee between Josh’s leg as his hands roamed up underneath Josh’s shirt.

Josh moaned into his mouth and rocked down against Raymond’s leg, and Raymond suddenly could smell Josh’s arousal bloom out, sharp and sweet.

He was pretty sure he knew what that meant. He threaded his fingers through Josh’s hair and pulled him back just enough to make eye contact. “Josh? Sweetheart?”

Josh let out a little whimper at the distance, and when he looked down at Raymond, his eyes were slightly unfocused. “Huh?”

“Do you want more?”

“Yes,” Josh breathed. “Yes, yeah. Please—”

“Okay, okay, shh, I have you. Let’s move to the bedroom, okay? You made me promise we wouldn’t ruin the couch.”

“Bed,” Josh said, crawling off of him. “Good, yeah, great idea.”

Raymond laughed as Josh tugged him off the couch.

The thing was—and Josh had told Raymond as much—Josh went off his libido inhibitors when he had to, to regulate his system, but part of him had always known, with his one-night partners, that they weren’t Right. He didn’t relax in the same way he knew he would around someone he trusted.

Raymond was someone he trusted, and so Josh wasn’t entirely sure where his head would be at, or if he’d have any filters, or anything like that. He knew that it could very well lay him bare… and he was okay with Raymond seeing that.

Which meant he was feeling really clingy and needy and desperate to touch, but he also loved Raymond so he wanted to play.

He practically manhandled Raymond onto the bed once they were both fully naked, sliding into his lap for more kisses. He was leaking steadily now, slick dribbling out of his hole and making a mess of the sheets, but he liked it—liked that he would be so easy and ready for Raymond. Liked that he’d be able to use his body to make Raymond feel good too.

He also liked when Raymond’s big hands trailed over his body, one coming up to cup the back of Josh’s neck, fingers just brushing the hair at his nape.

Josh loved kissing, loved losing himself in the slide of lips and tongue, a mouth on his. But he also wanted more, fire alight inside of him, and Raymond was here and he was so ready.

He nipped at Raymond’s lip one last time before pulling back. “We’re not on the couch anymore.”

The hands on him tightened. “That’s true,” Raymond rumbled. Josh loved how his voice got deeper when they were intimate.

“We won’t make a mess of it.”

“Just the sheets,” Raymond said, grinning against Josh’s skin.

Josh smiled. Raymond was hard against him and smelled amazing. “That’s what laundry is for.”

Raymond pulled him into a wet, messy kiss. “Whatever you want,” he promised, when they parted.

“Good.” Josh licked his lips, taking Raymond’s taste in, all that Raymond kept giving him. “Because I want to ride you, to start.”
