“Or I could be all over you,” I tell her as I look into her eyes. She doesn’t look afraid, but there’s something else about her Something, I’m not so sure of. She’s distant in a way.

“You’re my patient,” she tells me. I smirk at her.

“Not anymore. You want a drink?” she nods her head, and I nod back before turning and leading her inside. I don’t see anyone else around her, and it makes me wonder if she came here by herself. What the hell she’s even doing here, to begin with?

I walk to the bar and grab two drinks, passing her one as the music blasts through the speakers. My party is as hyped up as they all are. There are people everywhere, drinks flowing smoothly, and then there’s her.

I watch her sip her drink, and I find myself wondering if she’s even a drinker or if this is all for show.

“You don’t have to drink it,” I tell her as I down my glass and reach for hers. She lets me take it, answering my earlier question. She isn’t much of a drinker. I down her glass before setting the empty glasses back on the bar and turning toward her. I reach up and brush her hair away from her face as she fidgets nervously.

“How did you know I was here?”

“I didn’t. I knew there was a party, and that’s it.”

“It’s my birthday,” I tell her. She smiles.

“Happy birthday. Glad to see you up and moving, although I’m not sure how.”

“The doc released me. You know, after you left my cock with a tube in it.”

“That wasn’t my call,” she replies with a smile on her face. This one seems genuine.

“Could have helped a man out,” I tell her.

“Next time.”

“So you still wanna see my cock then? For there to be a next time.”

“I’m pretty sure you’ve shown it to me,” she retorts with that smile still in place. What am I doing here? Why am I looking at her like a piece of fucking meat I’d like to tear apart with my teeth?

“And did you like it?”

“It wasn’t bad,” she laughs.

“So you did like it. That’s good to know.” She shakes her head and turns, looking around the room. I’m not sure what she’s looking for, and I don’t really care. None of the others are going to be touching her but me.

“Come alone?”

“Yeah. I just heard there was a party,” she repeats her earlier words.

“Parties aren’t really announced. Who’d you hear that from?” Now, she shifts from one foot to another, and I know she’s lying to me.

“People at work.”

“Nice. Well, I’m glad you’re here, Jailbait.” With that, I walk away from her and go to find Mask. I don’t like her being here, not alone. I don’t like her hanging around with people like us.

“What’s up?” Mask asks when I grab his arm.

“Jailbait’s here.”

“Who?”

“The nurse. The hot little nurse from the hospital.”

“Feather?” he asks, looking confused.

“Yeah. Someone needs to scare her off,” I tell him.
