Their bodies shift as they all move to stare at me. “What?” Hendrix says, confused.

“A pen and paper. Or a pencil, that’s fine.”

I can see the hazy glaze of post-orgasm leave their eyes and all four Alphas spring up, scrambling to get me what I need, and I burst out laughing. “What am I going to do with you all dragging your feet like this?” I tease them.

A pen and paper are passed to me, and I start scribbling madly. I don’t want to lose this idea. I need to get it down before it leaves my head.

“What are you writing?” Easton asks as they all avidly watch me.

“I’m making notes,” I tell them. “I just got an idea for a new love story.”

“That’s amazing,” Jesse says, genuinely. “So you’re really committed to your writing career?”

“I am,” I tell him. All of them. “I actually emailed my old boss at my publishing company the novel I’ve been working on.”

“What did she think?” Easton asks—then he pauses. “Wait, your old boss?”

I grin. “I thought it would make a good consolation prize when I sent in my resignation. She might be losing me as a coworker but she could be gaining a new author. After all, I can’t work for a New York publishing company in Colorado, but I can write a novel from anywhere.”

Jesse and Easton plant kisses all over my face as I giggle. I can feel the love from all of them inside of me, making me feel like I’m glowing.

“What’s it about?” Hendrix asks. “What’s the idea?”

I smile at them all as I finish my notes and set the pen and paper aside. “It’s based on our story. What could be more inspiring to me than that?”

All four of them smile at me, and Cade kisses me softly.

“Sounds like we need to give you more inspiration then,” Jesse growls.

He tackles me back to the bed as I laugh.

Epilogue

Grace

I exhale nervously.

Writing a novel is the hardest part, and the rest of it is supposed to be easier. But honestly, the idea of meeting my fans is feeling like the hardest part right now.

My first novel was more of a success than I thought it would be, and the second one—the one I wrote inspired by my life with my Alphas—has a highly anticipated debut coming up. My former boss, who’s become my publisher, has arranged for me to do a meet and greet with fans where I’ll read a sneak peek of the second book and sign copies of my first.

“You look amazing,” I hear Jesse say from behind me.

I turn around. “I’m just not sure about the color,” I fret. “Maybe I should’ve chosen something other than yellow? You sure it doesn’t make me look like a big squash or something? Maybe I should go with blue…”

“If you’d picked blue,” Jesse points out with a chuckle, “you’d be saying that you look too much like a whale and you needed to change to green.”

He walks over and kisses me. “You look beautiful. And yellow is your favorite color. That’ll help with the nerves later.”

“I’m having nerves now.”

“And you have no reason for them,” Hendrix says, coming in with Easton and Cade behind him. “You look lovely, and your fans are excited to see you. They’re going to be so happy.”

“They traveled all the way out here…” I start, but Easton interrupts me.

“Because they want to accommodate your needs and not stick you on a plane like this. It doesn’t mean you’re obligated to make it worth their while.”

“Sometimes I hate that you all can hear my thoughts,” I say, laughing.
