Dalton smirked, clearly loving how the morning was going. Watching him pleasure her while seeing the ecstasy splashed across her face, relaxing her, increased my own arousal. Soon she was writhing against my hips, encouraging Dalton to go faster. He and I continued at the same pace, visually making eye contact with each other, and somehow figuring out without words how to bring Kendall to peak first. The result was immensely satisfying. Her thighs clamped around mine, and her pussy spasmed as she hit an orgasm. I followed, releasing inside of her. Dalton thrust one last time, groaning against our girl. He looked like the weight of the world lifted from him as he rested his chin on her shoulder. I loved seeing him like that, carefree and at ease. His hair slipped down over one eye and he kissed Kendall’s cheek.

“You’re both amazing. Let’s get cleaned up and we can hang out for a while.” He glanced at me. “Grant and I have a few things to talk about in private later.”

I waited for Dalton to withdraw from her before following suit. She shuddered, but her eyes were practically sparkling as she looked up the line of my body.

Kendall pursed her lips. “Are you in trouble already?”

“Don’t you worry about it, darling. Trust me when I say I’m in a much better place than I was last night.”

“I’m happy to hear that, Sir.” Kendall sighed. “Can we do this more often?”

“A threesome?” Dalton vacated the mattress. “Or something else?”

“Well, yes, but I meant can we spend more time together just like this? I haven’t felt this relaxed in years, Sir.”

“If I have anything to say about it, we will.” He tapped her nose. “We all need a shower, but those bandages shouldn’t get wet. It would be better if Grant took a bath.”

“Did you see the size of my tub?” I joked, but it was large enough to fit all of us.

“I did.” He winked.

His flirty banter was going to get me going again. The sheets needed to be washed since I’d sprayed coffee from one side to the other, but I’d take care of it later. “We can take a bath together, if the two of you have nothing else to do.”

“Oh!” Kendall clapped her hands and then jumped off the bed. “Please, Daddy? That sounds like so much more fun!”

“Whatever makes our girl happy, charming. I’m on board with it.” Dalton held out his hand and I let him help me to my feet. Kendall giggled, making a beeline for the bathroom. Then I heard the water turn on.

“I figured you would be.” He kissed me passionately. “We could all use some downtime before the holidays. Your injury notwithstanding, I think it would do us all some good.”

“Is that an order, Sir?” I tried to keep the smirk off my face, but failed. Everything he said brought out my brat. I was utterly hopeless to fight the urge to battle.

He stared at me, glancing up the length of my body all the way to my eyes. “Do I need to make it one?”

I stayed quiet for a moment, thinking about exactly what he was asking. If I said yes, he would likely turn it into an order. If I said no, but then exhausted myself, I’d wind up in the same sort of predicament. “Suggestions are great and all, but—”

“Daddies!” Kendall appeared in the doorway. “The tub is filling. Hurry up, slow pokes!”

“A bath will feel much less pleasant with a tender ass, prancer,” Dalton warned, but his tone was lighter than before.

“Sorry, I’m just excited, Sir. Please take your time, but hurry.”

She blew us both kisses before dancing into the bathroom. I loved seeing this sillier side of her. Kendall used to smile more, engage more, but lately it seemed like things were weighing her down. Maybe if I’d asked her out years ago, I could have been there for her, but I’d held back, strangely thinking that she wouldn’t want a relationship with an ‘old’ guy like me. That had been nothing more than a lie I told myself because of where I’d been at the time. Glancing at Dalton, I saw his brows furrowed. So much for him forgetting about my snarky question.

“You have extra hands to take care of all that needs taking care of. No strenuous activities, no physical labor late into the night.” Dalton kissed my lips. His light touches after his rough handling were the perfect balance I needed. “From now until the new year, I’d like you to make a dedicated effort to focus on the new project brewing in your head without taxing yourself.”

Geesh. Dalton knew exactly what I needed without a lot of information. He was so smart, and apparently adept at handling brats of all kinds. “Yes, Sir.”

“Good.”

“May I use your name for the rest of the weekend?”

“Not a chance.”

I wrapped my arms around him, happy for the decree I couldn’t make for myself.

“I’m starting to like you, charming.”

“Is that so?” He winked. “If everything we just did is ‘starting’ to like me, then I can only imagine what you’ll be doing to me by Christmas Eve.”
