Chapter Twenty-Three

The twins were insatiable. After their shower, they had taken her back to the bed and made love to her again and again. Amy was never so glad to have a healing symbiote as she was now. Her legs were weak, her middle overly sensitive from their love making.

Over the following three days, they had come together in every room of the stunning home they were given. In the bedrooms on the way to the kitchen, against the massive windows of the hallway, the balcony, the lounge, dining table, and even the kitchen.

Once they got over the awkwardness of being naked and making love to one woman, they started getting pretty creative with the ideas they had.

Now, Amy sat on the balcony outside the lounge, watching as the trees gently swayed in the breeze and waited for Cole to finish cooking. She had learned a lot about the twins between each session. Cole loved to cook and was glad to finally be able to cook for someone. He also enjoyed dancing and being silly when the mood hit. Cane, the more serious of the brothers had played a beautiful song on an instrument that looked a lot like a guitar. He also loved to read, having read most of the books in the main library.

“What are you thinking about?” Cane asked as he came outside, placing a cup of hot tea in front of her. He sat down beside her, running a loving hand over her hair.

“Just about how happy I am. When I was first taken from my home, I was sure I would die alone and in pain. I hated this planet, cursing it to hell and wanting nothing more than to go home. I felt the same way while I wandered the desert. But then everything changed. Now, when I look out there… I see my home. When I look at you and Cole I see my home. As long as I have you and the others, it's all I need to be happy here, Cane.”

“You have us all, Sila. I’m not going anywhere, and neither is Cole. The beasts are welcome here, as are the symbiotes. This is your home, Amy, and I hope it will be a happy one for a very long time.”

She reached over, taking his hand into hers and threaded her fingers with his. She looked back out over the trees, smiling as she thought about what her life would be like now that they all had a safe home.

“I hope you’re hungry,” Cole called as he came out, carrying a large tray with various foods piled up on plates. He placed it down on the table and sat down on her other side.

“Oh, wow. That smells so good,” she said, eagerly reaching out for the purple fruit she knew from when she lived in the cave.

They ate in silence, the twins giving her various foods to try.

As they were finishing their meal, a chime rang out from the main doors to their home. Cane and Cole frowned at each other, before Cane rose and went to see who it was. Amy couldn’t see the door from where she was sitting but heard all the voices as a group of people entered.

Cane came back out, a resigned look in his eyes.

“The team is here. They want to meet Amy.” Cane grumbled, picking up the last piece of a salty meat from the plate and popping it into his mouth.

“The team?” She asked Cole when Cane stepped back into the house.

“We have a team of warriors we work with. Come on, the sooner you meet them, the sooner they will leave.”

She chuckled, allowing Cole to help her up and followed him into the house.

Inside, standing next to Cane, were Lace, Dio and two others. There was a tall, muscular female with long, thick braids that fell to her waist. She had large, round orange eyes, surrounded by thick, long black lashes. Her exposed arms were covered in a stunning array of tattoos that ended on her neck.

The other male was another large Arusian cyborg, with part of his face covered in metal and one glowing blue eye and one normal blue eye.

“Amy, you know Dio and Lace,” Cane said.

Amy smiled at them, leaning back against Cole when he wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Hi guys.” Amy gave them a shy wave, before moving her gaze to the other two.

“The cyborg is Roam, and the female is Sena.”

She smiled politely at them as both of the new warriors watched her with assessing eyes.

“So,” Sena finally said, a grin playing on her lips, “You are the little female that tamed the twins, huh?”

Amy blushed, “There’s nothing tame about them.”

Sena laughed, “I like her!” She said, moving to sit down on the seats around the window.

They followed; Amy safely tucked between both males.

“How is Ice doing?” She asked.
