Where did she begin?

“Look at us, darling. You’re worried about your sister and I understand. She probably has her hands full at the moment and hasn’t had the time to check in. Give her some time.”

“I’m worried, Reece. What if?—”

“I’m sure she’s fine. No ‘what-ifs’ needed. Dyson is with her and you know he’ll take care of her,” Caden reassured her.

Reece stroked a thumb down her cheek and their words settled her thoughts. They were so good to her. How did she get so lucky?

“Everything will be fine, I promise.”

“Are you having second thoughts?” Reece didn’t try to hide the worry or hurt that question stirred.

“One day I’m going to ask you who hurt you so deeply to cause you such doubt. Reece Sterling, I do not have second thoughts about one second with either of you.” She made sure both were listening to her one-hundred percent before continuing. “Now it’s my turn to reassure you. I want what I said. A family. Little ones to love and two strong dominated alpha as fuck men to love me, worship my body and most importantly to share my life with. Now, get that doubt off your face, Reece Sterling. Unless I get shot, kidnapped or otherwise harmed, I’m not going anywhere.”

“Don’t you fucking dare say that.” Reece tackled her, pinning her to the wall with his large body and devoured her mouth with a punishing kiss she felt down to her toes.

“I should back talk more often,” she quipped, loving the fiery dare that crossed his expression.

“Come.” Reece held his hand out and all three moved to the shower.

A sensual smile played on Caden’s lips as he walked by her. Her boss had something planned. Something wickedly naughty. It was quite possible she wouldn’t make it back from this trip alive. Either the people who were after her would get lucky or she’d be killed by the overwhelming amount of orgasmic pleasure two men could lavish her body with.

The latter didn’t sound like a bad way to go.

Forty minutes later Abigail dialed her sister’s phone number for the third time in a row and still no answer.

¡Demonios!

The phone rang through the loudspeaker of the SAT phone once more before her sister’s answering message kicked in.

Abigail moved her finger over the red button to end the call, but paused at the sound of a frantic woman on the other end.

“Hello! Abigail?” Her sister’s voices sounded frantic.

“Shay! Oh, thank God! Where have you been? I’ve called like a thousand times!”

Caden rested his hand on her thigh and she instantly felt calmer.

“You have? No call has come through on this phone. Did you dial the shop?” Worry weighed heavy in her sister’s tone.

“No, just your cell. I know I dialed right.” Abigail looked between Caden and Reece who sat on either side of her listening in on the call, their gazes glued to her face. The same worry her sister conveyed through her voice now etched in the lines of their mouths.

“Let me have the phone, sweetheart.”

Abigail passed the cell over to Reece.

“Shay, this is Reece Sterling. I’m currently with your sister and so is my partner, Caden Hunter.”

“My sister has told me all about you. Both of you. I feel better knowing she’s in good company, but what is going on? Should I be as worried as I feel?”

“All good questions and thank you for your trust. Sorry to sound abrupt, but have you heard any static in your phone lately or have you had any pops and cracks?”

“Yeah, a lot actually over the last week or so. Why? What does that mean?”

In contrast to the freak-out of epic proportions Abigail was having on the inside, Reece held his tone even, his eyes glued to a spot across the room as he spoke to her sister.
