Page 34 of Sabotage

Everything happened quickly, and then they were gone, leaving me bleeding outside the damn clubhouse. My body screams at me to get it looked at, but I’ve got to get to my brothers. Tell them, then go after Ryann.

Through the pain, the question of how they got so close and were able to take her from me rushes through my head, roaring out the rage flowing through my veins.

Stumbling to the door, I grip the handle and yank the damn thing open. With one hand at my side, pressing into the wound there, doing my best to stop the bleeding.

“Fuckin’ hell, what happened to you?” Viking demands as soon as he sees me stumble down the hall into the main room. “Who did this?”

“Fuckers got Ryann,” I grind out. “Jumped us out behind the clubhouse. Like they’d been waiting.”

The front doors open, and Pirate stumbles through with the others right behind them, all of them looking dazed and confused.

“The fuck happened to y’all?” Ice states, stepping up next to Viking. Eyes darting back and forth. “Grimm, get Scorpion and Sabrina here. Mayhem looks like shit, and he ain’t gonna be able to do a damn thing.”

“They should be here any minute as it is. They’re taking Justice for the night,” Grimm remarks.

“Good, then ‘til they get here, someone patch me up. I need to get back out there and find Ryann,” I snarl.

“What happened to you?” Hydra asks, he and Rock both staring at me.

“What’s it look like?” I’ve no patience right now to deal with anything else other than getting the fuck back out there. The guy who shot me was a lousy shooter. Sure, he got my side pretty good, but still, it was a graze. My brothers can patch me up for the time being and deal with bandaging me up properly later.

“Who the fuck shot you?” Rock demands.

“Those Bishop’s Disciple fuckers,” I bite out and look toward Mayhem. “Go grab your medical kit. We don’t have time to wait around. My woman is out there.”

“Wait a minute,” Viking commands. “Wait just a fuckin’ minute. Too much is going on here. The fuckers got onto our property without any of us knowing about it?” He turns toward me. “You and Ryann were out back, how the fuck did they sneak up on you.”

“Sensor lights didn’t come on back there.” I didn’t think about it then. I’d been too pissed with Ryann, thinking she was playing me. Putting me through a test. I should’ve known better. Thinking more about it now. What happened doesn’t sit well with me. “War, find Dreamboat and Muffin.”

“Why?” War asks cautiously. Watching me closely. “They have something to do with the tears I’d seen on Ryann’s face when she’d come down those stairs?”

“They were in my fuckin’ bed when she went up. Said I’d messaged them that I wanted them up there already partying before I got in there,” I explain as both Mayhem and Wrath come up next to me. Dice moves in to help them as I slide my cut off, and Mayhem leans, definitely not on his game, as he focuses in on cutting my shirt.

“Think they set you up?” Grimm asks.

“Don’t know, but the timing seems off if you think about it.”

“Agreed.” Viking nods. “We’ve had enough drama in the past few years. We don’t need to leave anything unquestioned.”

I nod as Mayhem gets the shirt off me and curses.

“This one’s gonna need stitches for sure,” he remarks, moving to look at the one on my shoulder. “This one isn’t too bad.”

Before he can work on getting me patched up, Scorpion and Sabrina step through the entrance of the clubhouse. My brother’s gaze going on the alert when he gets a look at us.

“Sabrina, we need your assistance over here,” Viking states loudly as I hear a sharp gasp from the stairwell.

“Daddy,” Fawn cries out, rushing forward. Thankfully, Viking’s there to intercept her. “What happened?”

“Go back upstairs with Rocco, baby,” Viking tells her. “I’ll be up later to fill you in.”

“No,” Fawn protests. “I want to know what happened.” My daughter shoves past Viking and glares at me. “How did this happen?”

“Don’t got time to answer you, sweetheart. Listen to your man. We’ve got shit to handle,” I tell her, waving her off and looking to Sabrina. “Think you can patch me up quick and see what the fuck has Mayhem all zoned out?”

“You should be going to the hospital to have stitches,” Sabrina snaps, shoving Mayhem out of the way.

“I’ll see it after I get my woman back,” I grunt and glance at where War’s dragging in Muffin and Dreamboat. Both women shouting about how they didn’t do anything wrong.
