We clinked glasses, the sound ringing hollow in the opulent room.

Chapter 9

The mansion was eerily quiet as Vince and I settled in for the night. The king-size bed with its luxurious linens seemed small in the massive space, and a walk-in closet that could hold my entire life was tucked into one corner.

Vince moved with an effortless grace, unbuttoning his shirt and tossing it aside onto the floor like a typical man. But this man had a staff who’d pick it up in the morning. I tried not to stare at the way his muscles flexed with every movement, but damn it was real hard. I did try to keep my mouth closed though.

He caught me watching and gave a knowing smile but said nothing. Instead, he walked over to a drawer and pulled out a pair of silk pajama pants. “You should get ready for bed, Sybil. We’ve got a lot to discuss tomorrow.”

I headed to the bathroom to clean up for bed. When I came out, he was already in bed, his gaze following me as I crossed the room. He didn’t even try to hide the fact that he was watching as I slipped out of my clothes and into a tank top and shorts. It was unsettling and thrilling all at once. What the hell was wrong with me?

Climbing into bed next to him, I felt the chemistry between us like it was a living breathing thing. The bed was big enough to keep our bodies from touching, but the awareness ofeach other’s presence was beyond electric. It was fuckin nuclear. Vince leaned back against the headboard, his eyes still on me.

"You know, to make this work, it is imperative that we gain a deeper understanding of each other," he said, breaking the silence. “Tell me, Sybil, what do you like in a man?”

Shrugging, I tried to keep my tone professional. “I like a man who’s confident, knows what he wants, and isn’t afraid to go after it. Someone who’s strong but can be gentle when he needs to be. Someone who can handle me.”

Vince smirked. “Sounds a lot like me.”

“Really? I also like a man with great big balls, and a cock to match.”

“I check all of those boxes.”

“Don’t flatter yourself,” I shot back, but I couldn’t control the small smile that crept onto my face.

He chuckled. “Fair enough. But let’s get serious. I need to know what you expect from this arrangement, and what I can expect from you.”

I turned to face him, propping myself up on one elbow. “I expect you to be honest with me. No surprises. I want to know exactly what’s going on, every step of the way. And I want to be treated with respect. I’m not just some pawn in your game.”

He nodded. “Agreed. And from you, I expect loyalty. You’ll need to convince my family and everyone else that this is real. You’ll be living here, taking on the role of my fiancée. That means being by my side at events, dinners, whatever is required.”

“And in the bedroom?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He didn’t miss a beat. “If this were a real relationship, I would expect passion. I like a woman who’s not afraid to take control, but also knows when to let go. Someone who can match my intensity. I’m not into anything extreme, but I enjoy a bit of adventure. I want to be able to explore each other, to push boundaries and see where it takes us.”

His words gave me goosebumps. A heat was building between my legs as he spoke. I shifted slightly, trying to get comfortable, but my body had a mind of its own. The room was dark, the only light emitted from the moonlight pouring in from the windows.

I was at a loss. I could feel my arousal growing. I glanced over at Vince, who was watching me with a knowing look. He said nothing, just kept his eyes on me, his presence a turn on in itself.

Unable to resist any longer, I slid my hand under the covers, down between my legs. The need was overwhelming, and I began to touch myself, my fingers finding the wetness that had been building. Rubbing my nub in a circle, I bit my lip to stifle a moan, but Vince’s eyes were locked on mine, his gaze dark and dirty.

He didn’t move, didn’t say a word, just watched as I pleasured myself beside him. The thrill of his eyes on me only heightened my arousal, and I moved my fingers faster, my breathing becoming ragged. I closed my eyes, letting the sensation wash over me, imagining it was Vince’s hand instead of my own.

As I neared the edge, I couldn’t hold back the moan that escaped my lips. My body tensed, the pleasure crashing overme in waves. When I finally opened my eyes, Vince was still watching, his expression completely unreadable.

“Feel better?” he asked, his voice hushed and gravelly.

Unable to speak, I nodded. My body was still trembling from the release, and I could feel the heat of his gaze lingering on me.

“Atta girl,” he said, a small smile playing on his lips. “We’re going to make this work, Sybil. And who knows? Perhaps we will even find enjoyment in it."

With that, he turned off the light and settled back into the pillows. I lay there in the dark, my mind spinning with the events of the day and the intensity of the moment. This arrangement was going to be more complicated than I’d thought. But after an orgasm, I was planning to sleep like a baby.

Chapter 10

The morning light burst in, shining all over the bedroom. Feeling the heat of another body beside me, I stirred. My leg was draped over him, my hand resting on his hairy chest. For a moment, I forgot the situation and let myself sink into the comfort of his presence. It felt like just another morning waking up sated in a sexy man's bed.

My hand started to wander, tracing the hard lines of his ab muscles, feeling the smoothness of his skin on the way down until I buried my hand in a well-manicured bush. Vince made delicious noises in his sleep, soft groans that sent a shudder up my spine. I snuggled closer, burying my face in the crook of his neck, inhaling his macho scent.
