He held back the curtain and ushered me into the small changing area. There was a silver garment bag hung on the rail and a mirror propped against the only solid wall. “Stop stressing. You’ll be fine. Just look at your man and focus on him. Trust me when I say you need to look at him, because he won’t be able to take his eyes off you.”

My eyes fluttered closed as I inhaled deeply and counted to ten and then back down again. When I peeled them open, I felt nothing but excitement zinging through me. “Alright. I’m ready.”

Levi clapped his hands together in excitement, unzipped the bag, and slowly peeled out my next outfit. My heart was in my throat when I saw nothing but the finest net glittering in the lights. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to the minute intricate details that made up the garment. It was exquisite. Tiny snowflakes glimmered next to diamantés and a smattering of pearls. But one thing didn’t escape my notice. “Ah, Levi?”

“Yeah, babe?” The devilish look in his eyes said everything.

“I-it’s see through.”

He threw his head back and belly laughed. “It’s not entirely, babe.”

“Everyone will see my dick!” I pointed out, and the little shit snickered again.

“I’ve got something for you that will cover it.” He dived back into the bag and pulled out a micro G-string that only had enough holographic material to cover my dick; everything else looked like floss.

“I’ll break that putting it on!”

“You won’t, I promise.” His eyes glinted with mischief. “I can always help you put it on.”

A giggle slipped past my lips. “Yeah, thanks, but no. Dillon would have something to say about that.”

He laughed and nodded. “But I will help you with the main piece. You’ll never be able to button it up on your own.” He rolled on the balls of his feet. “You good?”

“Yeah,” I squeaked and swallowed as a lump caught in my throat. “I’ve got it. Now get out and let me get in this teeny-weeny thing. I’ll shout when I’m done.”

Beads of perspiration dotted my brow and trickled down my spine as I stripped and folded my clothes into a neat pile, setting them on the back of the chair. I took a few calming breaths as adrenaline spiked through me, making my hands tremble. I shook my head at the tiny piece of material posing as underwear. I’m going to hell for this. I stepped into it and pulled it up, terrified the strings on the side would snap and I’d end up flashing myself to the audience. Once it was in place, I looked at myself in the mirror and grinned. Maybe I could keep this for Dillon.

“I’m ready. I think?” I called out and Levi chuckled while talking to Kaileigh about where my boots were. I’d never worn heels before the dress rehearsal. I’d ended up with bruises in places I didn’t think possible from wearing shoes, but he promised they’d make the outfit along with the wings.

Excitement eddied through me as Levi appeared with boots in hand. They’d been upgraded since I last wore them. They were now a shimmering silver with the same beadwork as the outfit I was going to be wearing. He looked up at me with eyes so bright they glowed. “They look incredible, if I do say so myself.”

“Did you make them?”

“No.” He shook his head and dragged a small stool over, sitting down. “I gave the design to Kaileigh, and she did the beadwork while I finished this showstopper and the wings.”

“I can’t wait to see it all finished,” I said as I stepped into the outfit Levi held out for me. I dared not breathe for fear of the fine lace splitting. “Did you manage to get the lighting working?”

“I did, and they look...” He brought his fingers to his lips and gave a chef’s kiss. “Now, step back slowly and hold your arms out while I slip this on for you.”

The piece Levi designed fit like a second skin, and the soft lace felt like silk flowing over my skin. The material was loose enough to move freely, which prevented the many embellishments from chafing. Levi positively radiated excitement, and I could hardly stand still while Justin applied my makeup. He used cool blue, silver, and gray tones to accentuate my eyes and swiped a shimmering sheen across my cheekbones.

I picked up a host of tips from him, and couldn’t wait to put them into practice and bring Dillon to his knees.

By the time we worked the delicate gladiator-style knee-high boots up my legs, I was bouncing on my toes, ready to go. All the trepidation and fear bubbling under my skin melted away, and I felt like I was flying.

“Two minutes,” Kaileigh called from the curtain. “Fog’s up and lights are lowering runway side.” She turned to look at me, and her mouth fell open on a gasp.

“Does it look okay?” Insecurity bled through me as I chewed on my lip, earning a slap from Justin who had to touch up my lip gloss.

“Behave, Jamie,” he muttered as he covered my face with his hand and sprayed my hair with glitter spray. I felt like every femboy’s dream, and I loved it.

“Jamie, you look…you… wow! The design was good to begin with?—”

“Thanks, babe,” Levi interjected, strolling past her with my wings.

“But honestly, you complete it. You look like a fairy. No. A snow angel.”

Levi snickered as he guided the straps over my arms and clipped the harness over my chest. Thank god for the addition of padding, because these things weighed a ton. They stood two feet above my head and trailed on the ground, even with my four inch heels on. They were the most elegant piece of construction I’d ever seen, with layer upon layer of sparkling white feathers covered them. They really did look like angel wings. I turned in a slow circle when Levi made a circular motion with his finger and made his final checks.
