“Hey.” Crossing the room, Phoenix pulled me into his arms, lowering his lips to mine. “It’s going to be okay.” His voice was barely more than a whisper, sending shivers of anticipation down my spine.
I looked nervously to the left and right of me, checking for prying eyes. “Should we be doing this right now? I mean… We…” He didn’t give me a chance to finish my thought as his lips claimed mine, his arms circling my waist and pulling me into him.
Wrapping my arms around his neck, I melted against his hard body as a sigh escaped my lips. Whatever worries and concerns that I had a moment ago evaporated as the passion within me ignited as our tongues touched. His hands slipped to my ass, grabbing the cheeks and pulling me up tight against his rapidly growing erection. Gripping at the leather of his vest, I rubbed my pelvis tight against him, attempting to relieve the growing ache between my legs, but only making it worse. I don’t think I could ever get enough of my two men.
Voices grew louder as the door of the meeting room creaked open.
Ending the kiss, Phoenix took his time stepping away from me, leaving me flushed and breathing heavily with a soft ache between my legs. “Until later, baby,” he growled in my ear before straightening.
“All right. We’re all set.” Talon announced, exiting the room with the rest of the senior members filing out behind him. He aimed his gaze directly at me. “Here’s the situation. You’re staying with us until your sister follows through with her plan.”
“As your guest?” I asked, inching a little closer to Phoenix. As much as I liked my freedom, I couldn’t really complain about being forced spending a little more time with Phoenix and Ash.
Talon clucked his tongue off the roof of his mouth and made a grimace. “If you want to think of it that way then by all means.”
“Can I leave?”
“No. In fact, once Gabriella leaves, Ash and Phoenix will be taking you back to the safe house until this is all over.”
I nodded, pretending to be dismayed by the turn of events, but if I were to be honest with myself I couldn’t be happier. I had nothing left to go back to.
“Gabriella is still in the meeting room and wants to talk to you privately; you have five minutes and we’re going to be heading out.”
“Go on,” Phoenix said, giving me a little nudge with his elbow.
Passing the men, I entered the meeting room.
“Leave the door open,” Talon instructed when I grabbed the door handle and began to close it.
“Yes.” I nodded, “Of course.” Turning back to face my sister, I took a seat next to her, not sure what to say. There was so much I wanted to know about her, twenty-eight years of history to catch up with and only five minutes to do it.
Gabriella immediately got down to business. “Look, when I leave I’m sure every man out there will be able to tell you a story about me that will make you feel that I’m an evil bitch not to be trusted. And for the most part they’re probably right, I’m not proud of all the things I’ve done, but I am sincere when I say I want to make things right. And that starts with us getting to know each other. We’re sisters. Twins. We’re all each other has for family and I am being honest when I say I want to have a relationship with you.”
“We just met.”
She shrugged. “Maybe, but you’ve got to trust me.” She lowered her voice and leaned into me. “And just so we’re clear, I know what’s going on with you and the two giants.”
I opened my mouth to protest, but snapped it shut again as heat warmed my cheeks. You didn’t have to be my twin to be able to read the guilt, I’m sure.
“Thought so. If you ever decide to give one of them up, then feel free to send him my way. But rest assured your secret is safe with me.”
“I don’t think that’s how it works.”
Leaning back in the high-backed wooden chair she grinned a devilish grin I’d seen in the mirror a million times before on my own face. “Never say never.”
“Thank you for this.”
“I’m not being completely sacrificial. They’re counting on you being important enough to me to use as collateral. If it wasn’t for you, I’d be locked in that room waiting for them to decide where they wanted to take their pound of flesh from.”
“Either way. Thank you.”

“Is this blindfold really necessary?” I groaned as Ash placed a dark blue strip of fabric over my eyes. “Talon didn’t blindfold Gabriella when he and Bones took her back.”
“Watch your head.” Placing a hand on my head, like you’d see cops do for criminals they’d just arrested, he guided me into the back of the truck they’d originally kidnapped me in. “It’s not my choice. Talon feels it’s necessary baby, sorry… Gabriella knows the location of the club house. No one aside from the senior members of the club know the location of the safe house.”
