“Of course,” she answers.

“You didn’t help at all,” Marie points out.

“Breeane had it handled.” Sally waves her hand.

“I want to see it,” Gabby says.

Sally brings out her phone.

I really want to see it, too, but Quinn is gripping my hip. I don’t think he sees the humor in the situation.

“Sally, put the phone away,” he commands, his voice deep. More wide eyes. Anyone would get turned on by his tone.

I’m thinking about last night, and the girls have gone quiet when the door opens. Bash, Micah, Kade, and Cash join us.

Sally loses interest in her phone quickly. “Jesus,” she whispers, biting her lip.

“Why are you here?” Quinn asks.

“Marie messaged me,” Bash explains.

“We wanted to report in,” Cash says.

“I was bored,” Micah says.

“Fuck,” Quinn grits out. “How are you bored? Aren’t you looking for the person who’s fucking with us?” he asks.

“Of course, but Heath had to leave to take care of something, so we took a break,” he explains.

“We haven’t seen anything,” Kade says.

“Hi guys,” Gabby says, wiggling her fingers at Kade and Cash.

“This them?” Sally asks, elbowing Gabby.

“Yes,” she says dreamily.

“Nice,” Sally says.

“I won’t say anything, but you know what I’m thinking,” Breeane says quietly to them.

Marie grins brightly at Bash. “Mate,” she says, leaning toward him.

“Good choice,” he tells her.

My eyes are bouncing between all of them, hardly able to keep up.

“We were talking about a night out,” Marie says.

“No,” Bash says.

“Thank you,” Quinn says.

“You said you would come,” Marie states.

“I said I would come if you insisted,” Bash says.

“I could use a night out,” Micah says.
