“And my brother?”

“Yes, your brother will be brought to justice.”

Rage like never before takes over my mind and I need some fresh air. I walk outside and breathe in the salty breeze blowing in from the ocean. The sun is growing closer to the horizon painting the sky red. It relaxes me little by little until I’m calm enough to return to Daisy. In order for us to make it, this job needs to go down. I can’t move on with my life if I’m constantly looking over my shoulder wondering if Razor is going to set me up again. Every fire I have to check to see how it starts. To make sure Razor isn’t trying to frame me again. So many lives lost because of his revenge against me, I didn’t even know about.

I pray to the biker Gods that this is it. Tonight, will end in success and both Daisy and I can move on together. She too will always check over her shoulder until these guys are brought to Royal Bastard justice. I need to protect her. I will protect her with my life.

Walking back inside with renewed strength to get through this, I hear Daisy and Calypso talking. I’m glad they’re getting along. Calypso is part of our sister chapter, Royal Harlots. I don’t know what brought her here but thankful she is. The Royal Harlots are all women who can handle their own. Allura is the President. Sloane is the V.P. Then there’s Divine who’s the Sargent at Arms, Calypso is their Enforcer, Iris is their Road Captain. Duchess is the Secretary, Rebel the Treasurer. Then they have several non-officer members and a few prospects.

I enter the room and Daisy eyes me carefully, appraising my body and it makes me want to beat my chest, throw her over my shoulder and fuck her hard. Daisy shifts in her seat and she licks her lips. I’m one lucky motherfucker. I kiss the side of Daisy’s head and take a seat next to her again, grabbing her free hand. Anything to touch her.

“Everything alright?”

“Yeah, Club business. If you need to know, you’ll know.” I might sound like an ass but it’s for the best the less she knows, the safer she’ll be.

I learned so much about Daisy and she knows more about me than I’ve ever shared with anyone. It makes my tough interior crumble the more I’m with her. She does something to me. She brings my heart alive and touches my soul. Something I never thought possible. The more time I spend with her, the deeper I fall for her and it hits me like a freight train. I love this woman sitting here in this chair getting my brand on her. I love her and will do anything to protect her. Even kill for her.

Once Calypso is done with Daisy’s ink and she gives her after care instructions, Calypso leaves. Her ass couldn’t get out of here fast enough and I don’t know why. But it’s not my problem to deal with.

Daisy is disappointed Bones is taking them back to the Clubhouse, but it has to be done. I corner Bones when the girls are getting into the SUV.

“I’m trusting you with precious cargo, Prospect. You fuck up and I’ll skin your ass alive. Feel me?”

Bones nods his head. No fear in his eyes at all. He’s almost ready to become a patched member. “I’ll guard them with my life. If anything happens, you have my word it’s because I’m dead.” The conviction in Bones’ voice eases my worry. I slap him on the back and shut the driver's side door.

Capone, Blayze, Red Bear, Trigger, Tiny and me watch the SUV drive away until the taillights disappear. The sun is setting turning everything into a red haze.

Capone’s phone vibrates in his pocket. He pulls it out and reads the text. “Voodoo and Raptor from the Ankeny Chapter are at the diner waiting for us. They had a lead on some gun runners that killed Voodoo’s brother in law’s friend. They volunteered to help us out.”

Glad to have the back up, we mount our bikes and fire them up. Taking off at breakneck speed, we ride in formation to the little diner near the shipping yard. Capone signals to pull around back and hide the bikes. Bear is grinning from ear to ear remembering the last time we were here. The fucker got laid by our waitress in the bathroom.

Voodoo and Raptor come out the back door and we all slap each other on the back. Voodoo stops in front of me and his eyes flash with recognition. “Your Ol’ Lady safe?”

“Yeah, she’s on the way to the Clubhouse with Bones.”

“You’ll want to check on that when we’re done. Something tells me she's in trouble and doesn’t know why.”

Shaking off the ominous feeling in the pit of my stomach, I pull my phone out to text Daisy. She responds immediately and it puts my mind at ease for now.

“Let’s roll boys. We don’t have much time.” Capone orders. I pull my backpack from my saddlebag and sling it over my shoulder. We walk to the shipping yard on foot, sticking to the shadows. Movement from the corner of my eye has us halting in our tracks.

“Trigger and Derange, you two set up ready to snip anyone who tries to escape. Torch, you and Blayze head down and get shit set up. I want to make a statement here. The rest of us will spread out and circle the shipping container.” Capone orders.

“You got it Prez.” I’m grinning ear to ear. It’s been a while since I blew shit up. Last time was with Rael and the Tonopah Chapter.

“Torch, we’ll make sure all the women are in the clear. Then light it up.”

“With pleasure.”

Blayze and I walk down to our target and I get to work pulling supplies out of my bag. I have a special mix of fuel and oxidizer I call Big Bang in bottles and set the bottles with a timer connected to an app on my phone Red installed. Setting the bottles in six undetected spots, I program the app. Once they explode, the bottles and anything connected to them will disintegrate into ash, untraceable.

“What the fuck you call this one?” Blayze asks, watching me with fascination.

I grin from ear to ear, in my element. “Big Bang.” I place the last bottle in the outside corner of the shipping container.

“How in the hell do you come up with these?”

I shrug, “Trial and error.”
