“But you’ve got to tell us,” Danyella chimes in. “It’s girl code.”

I’m watching while standing next to Jax trying not to laugh. “Are you going to bail her out?” I ask Jax.

“Nope.” Jax pops the P. “She dug herself into this when she slept with my twin. Now I’m gonna enjoy the show.”

Rose looks up and pleads for help with her eyes. Jax shrugs his shoulders and stifles a laugh while Monica and Danyella keep hounding Rose for answers.

Feeling bad for Rose, I step in. “Girls, stop. Maybe Rose doesn’t want to kiss and tell.”

Monica and Danyella pout. “Thank you.” Rose mouths.

“You’re welcome,” I whisper back.

“Listen,” Rose speaks, “I’m leaving in a few hours.”

“What? Why?” Danyella asks.

“Where are you going?” Monica asks.

“I’m heading back home.” Rose grabs her cup and takes a sip. “I’ve got things that can’t be ignored and I can’t hide anymore.”

“Where’s home?” Danyella questions.

“Texas.” Rose fakes a smile when she makes eye contact with Jax. “I have a lot of packing to do so I have to get moving it.”

Danyella engulfs Rose in a hug. “We’re going to miss you. Say in touch and don’t be a stranger.”

“I will. Thank you for everything.” Danyella and Rose release each other and Monica steps in.

“If you need anything, you call. We’ll be there in a heartbeat.”

“Thank you, Monica. That means a lot to me.” They release each other and Rose approaches me. I shift from foot to foot waiting to hear what she’s going to say. “Daisy.” Rose wrings her hands trying to find the right words.

“No need to say anything, Rose. You haven’t seen me at my best, only my worst. I’ll admit I haven’t been very nice to you and for that I’ll apologize. But I won’t apologize for going after what I wanted, I wish you the best and good luck with Jax.”

“That was blunt.” Monica giggles.

“Why beat around the bush?” Rose says. “I appreciate that Daisy is confident enough in herself to speak her mind.” She turns to me. “Going from the shy, scared girl when you first come here to a confident woman now. Makes me proud of how far you’ve come. Don’t ever lose that confidence, no matter what happens.” Rose hugs me and I awkwardly return her embrace. “Be safe and love with all you have.”

“You too.”

Rose and Jax walk out of the kitchen hand in hand.

“Well, that was…different.” I mumble still trying to wrap my mind around the fact Torch has a twin.

Squeals from the commons room draws my attention to the kitchen door. It flings open and Torch is standing there. His eyes rake over my body in a hungry gaze and a tingle forms between my legs.

“Daisy, let's go.” Torch grunts out.

“Where we going?”

The look Torch gives me makes my knees weak. “Do you trust me?”

“Of course, I do.”

“Then get that sexy ass on my bike and let’s go.” Torch crosses the room and stands next to me, giving me a sexy smirk. He wraps his arms around my waist, squeezing my ass with his rough hands.

“Lord, the temperature in here just shot up a thousand degrees.” Danyella fans her face.
