“Yes,” Felix confirmed.

“Then I’ll take it.”

He smiled. “Nice.” He tapped his temple. “I like the way you think.”

He reached up to a high cabinet. His shirt rose slightly at the movement, exposing his carved abs. I took advantage of that moment too and smiled, liking what I saw.

He opened the bottle and the crimson liquid poured into the glasses with refreshing glugging sounds. I began to salivate. I was excited about savoring this wine.

“Cheers,” Felix said and smiled with a twinkle in his gorgeous eyes.

“Cheers.” I clinked my glass against his and took a relishing sip.

The warm liquid rolled down my throat and splashed into my stomach, providing me with a sensation of instant warmth. The alcohol began to seep into my veins and instantly lulled my senses, relaxing me.

“You have no idea how much I need this right now,” I said and chuckled, almost vulnerably.

Felix’s eyebrows knitted in concern. “What’s going on?”

“Oh, just work stuff.” I waved my hand dismissively. “I wouldn’t want to bore you with the details.”

“You wouldn’t bore me.” Felix’s gaze was earnest, and I appreciated his ability to be a listener and not automatically want to talk about himself all the time.

I couldn’t stand vain men, and Felix definitely didn’t fit that personality. He was more of a sub in other ways than even he knew, and I wanted to bring that side out of him so it could shine where it belonged.

“Why don’t we go into the library, and I can give you the gory details along the way?” I suggested.

Felix smiled. “That sounds perfect.”

We walked down an extended hallway. I gave him the nutshell version of what was going on with the club and the liquor license suspension by the city. He seemed empathetic, invested in what I had to say. Felix halted in front of a set of double doors. “Here we are,” he smiled.

He opened both doors. There were empty shelves and books everywhere. Most of them were dusty. They came in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

“You really have your work cut out for you in here,” I chuckled.

“I told you.” Felix tossed me a playful smirk.

“Well, I signed up for this, I better rise to the challenge,” I said.

Felix faced me. “You usually rise to the challenge.”

I raised my eyebrows and matched his flirtatious grin. “What are you trying to say?”

“Nothing.” Felix swiveled on a heel and began walking toward a row of books stacked in the corner. “I need to organize these.”

It was too late. His sultry gaze had turned me on. My heart pounded. My cock hardened with arousal. I cupped my hand over his shoulder and slowly turned him around.

As soon as he faced me, I leaned in and planted my lips against his. Electric sparks of attraction rushed through me like a current. Felix groaned in response and brushed his fingers through my hair.

We began to undress each other with urgent passion, panting and groaning, nibbling on each other’s ears and grazing our fingers across now familiar parts of each other’s bodies.

Felix reached his hand between my legs and began fondling my cock, stroking it up and down. It felt fantastic. I pinned him up against the wall.

He grinned at me with a naughty twinkle in his eyes. There were no words between us. We were too engaged in the moment. Our mouths hungrily pressed together. Our fingers frantically fumbled to each other’s belts, unzipping each other’s pants as we pushed them down around our ankles and tossed them aside.

I didn’t care about the books—it was time to fuck. We could work later. The passion between us was raw and urgent, something I hadn’t expected to feel this early on in a rendezvous with a potential partner.

Felix didn’t try to take the wheel, which I mentally deemed as progress. He had initiated the make out session that I already knew was inevitably going to turn to sex, but now I had the reigns.
