My dad kicked him in the ribs several times.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake, someone shoot the cunt so we can leave.”
Blood was oozing out of his mouth.
“Whore like her mother,” he spat out. “Should have killed them together or given her to my sons.”
My stomach turned, and I looked at my dad.
“For my family and for my Club, may you burn in eternal hell,” he said.
He shot him a bullseye in the forehead. There was little noise because there was a silencer.
“No one will call the police the neighbours are used to hearing all sorts of shit coming from this house,” Kieran said.
I nodded to him. We had footage of all of them, and I was glad that Kieran had his sister's auburn hair and not like the other three.
Widower stepped up towards me.
“The brothers weren’t here.”
I looked at Kieran.
“They got a call and left earlier this evening,” he said. “They didn’t say where they were going.”
I looked at the others because this had to have been a tip-off.
“Fuck!” I spat out. “Not a word to Kat about her mother. I don’t want her hurting right now,” I added, looking around until they all nodded.
“Let's go,” Dad said. “We have plenty of time to find them.”
Lucifer and his men didn’t look too happy either.
“We can help in a national search,” he said.
I looked at him in shock.
“I’m sorry, we didn’t know what he did. We are all in,” he said solemnly before looking at his VP, who nodded.
“Plus, I wouldn’t mind getting another invite to see your show,” he added with a snicker.
I smirked but held my middle finger up to him.
We left as quickly as we came but with Kieran in tow.
???
Animal and Scar were left to destroy the van that took us there. The noise of our bikes on the residential street would have been a nightmare. I shook the Black Wolves’ hands, and I accepted everyone's congratulations on Kat’s pregnancy.
“We owe you,” I said to Lucifer.
“Yeah, we won’t forget,” he said.
Fucker.
We all jumped on our bikes.
I needed to get back to Kat. She almost broke my fucking heart in leaving her. I shook my head at the thought. I didn’t think I had anything left in my heart.
