Her cheeks look pink after being freshly scrubbed. It’s her deep blue eyes that capture my attention. No video or picture can compare to the real thing.
“Why are you staring at me like that? Look, I thought it was just some fun over the phone. N-Nothing serious,” she blurts out.
All my pleasant emotions go out the window.
“Yet, you would have fucked Kevin the cunt?”
Her eyes widen.
I don’t give a fuck that I sound bitter and angry.
“Well, I wasn’t sure for certain how that night was going to turn out.”
Unable to keep my anger in check any longer.
“I removed him from your life.”
Her face scrunches up before she looks at me in suspicion.
“What did you do to Kevin?”
“Let’s just say you can’t ever fuck him unless you enjoy necrophilia,” I said with a chuckle.
“Y–You killed him? What the fuck? That poor man. I thought he had stood me up. Oh, I called him awful things.”
Her eyes narrow on me, and she stands up.
“Kevin had a history of abusive relationships.”
“How the heck do you know that?”
“The same way I know everything about you.”
She looks around the living room.
“What are you looking for? Do you think you can take me?”
“You’re a murdering bastard. Keep away from me.”
She grabs a large ornament. Her robe unravels, and she glances down at her predicament. I leap for her and toss the ornament to the side. I grip her around the waist and bring her in front of me before pushing her over the arm of the sofa.
My body falls on top of hers, pinning her down. Using one hand, I push her face into the sofa cushion and pull out the cloth with the chloroform on it. I use my grip on her hair to turn her face over and cover her mouth and nose with the cloth. She tries to shake her head, but I press her head deeper into the sofa. It takes a few minutes before she is knocked out.
I message my men to come and clear out her apartment. I go into her bedroom and get a blanket for her. When I come back out, one of the guys is looking at Gia.
“What the fuck are you looking at?”
“Er, nothing, Boss.”
“Keep your fucking eyes off her.”
I stride out of the apartment with my sassy nerd in my arms. Dante sees me and averts his eyes away from her.
“Make sure they all know if I catch any of them looking at her, I won’t hesitate in stabbing their eyes out.”
The chloroform won’t last long, and I don’t want to keep the cloth over her face. I place her on the passenger side of my car. From the back seat, I get the blindfold, handcuffs and rope for her feet. I lay her seat as far back as it would go. Once I had everything on her. I tucked her glasses into my jacket pocket.
The last thing I need is the police stopping me. I usually have a driver, but tonight I wanted to ensure nothing went wrong.
