Page 21 of Come to Bed

I threw a robe over my sleepwear, grabbed the form with my request, both hotel keys, stepped into my slippers, and exited my room. I felt like I was a teenager sneaking out as I glanced both ways before making my way down the hall. While the room was on the same floor, it was two hallways away.

When I made it, I breathed a sigh of relief as the door slunk shut behind me. The room was identical to the one I was staying in, except this one had clearly not been used yet.

Walking fully into the space, I emptied the pockets of my robe on the bedside table and eyed the bottle of wine there. I plucked the card that was placed at the bottom, reading it.

Cheers to satisfying your desires.

I could get behind that. Thankfully it was a twist top and I made quick work of opening it. I swiftly filled and threw back a glass before shedding my robe and getting comfortable in the bed.

Nervous energy was coursing through me, but the alcohol was doing its job.

Sleep play was something I had read about and always wanted to try, but this was all very new.

What if I just thought I would like it? What if I ended up hating every moment?

Even though I wanted this, I was still so anxious. I reached over and plucked the wine from the bedside table, taking a swig straight from the bottle this time. I set it down after several large gulps.

It was time.

I adjusted my Mumu and closed my eyes. I did my best to calm my breathing and fall asleep, because I knew when I woke up, it would be to a man inside of me.

Chapter seventeen

Maddox

His Ellie

“Where the fuck is she?” Oliver raged as they entered Ellie’s room. Oliver had the cameras in her bedroom hooked up to his phone and Maddox watched as Oliver rewound until it showed Isobel exiting. Moments after Yara called for their assistance.

Maddox was livid, but he needed to keep calm. “Maybe she went for medicine?”

Oliver continued his rampage. “Isobel’s phone is showing it’s here. Why would she leave without it?” Oliver began throwing everything off of her bed, in the process the mattress was moved, and Maddox spotted something amiss.

Maddox stepped forward grabbing the folder. “Call. Yara. Now!” he spat out.

Come to Bed. Stared back at him as he furiously opened the folder. Dread sunk deep into his gut. He knew what this was, but he desperately wanted to be wrong.

The signed NDA stared up at him. He threw it to the ground and read the first line of the next page, before letting loose a snarl.

Welcome to your Darkest Desires

“I am going to kill her. I am going to murder Yara. I will strangle her with my bare hands.” Maddox’s voice was icy and cold.

Oliver stopped his destruction of her room, Ellie’s phone in his hand. “I missed her texting Yara, that was a distraction. Why?”

“Look at this.” Maddox held the sheet up to Oliver.

“Yara is going to die,” Oliver confirmed.

They were once more on the same page, but first? They needed to find their girl before this unknown chump touched what was theirs.

Chapter eighteen

James Lewis

James left the reunion an hour prior and had wasted no time pounding shots back-to-back at their local sports bar. He was stewing on his interaction with Annabelle. That fat girl thought she was better than him? Well, she fucking wasn’t, and he was planning on picking up the first piece of ass that gave him the eyes.

The alcohol eventually caught up with him and James moved towards the bathroom, to find the door locked and an out of order sign adorning it. He jiggled the handle a few more times, but it didn’t give way.
