I wanted to say something, not sure what exactly, but something. Instead, I grunted, causing them to chuckle.
“I think we tired her out,” Zilon said, pulling me onto his lap and atop all the clothes littering the ground. “We can’t stay here long though.”
Landers groaned and wiped his face. “And there goes that high.”
We all sobered as the reality of our situation settled over us. Zilon was right. We couldn’t stick around. We’d already wasted who knew how long
“He’s right. We can’t stay here,” Philit said.
Sadness enveloped me. I didn’t want our time together to end, and I dreaded heading back to the academy and to my dorm room. Grimacing, the guys took in a deep breath.
“What?” I asked.
“Damn, I felt that so hard,” Landers said, rubbing his chest.
“Felt what?”
“The depth of your emotions,” Philit said. “Looks like we bonded closer.”
“I mean, we just had our dicks in her body. I hope we bonded closer with her,” Landers said.
“Landers,” Zilon growled out.
My face grew red as I was reminded of what we just did and how fucking good it felt. My body tried to warm up again at the idea of fucking them once more, but it was also spent. Ultimately, that desire sputtered out, reminding me how exhausted I was. We had gone through so much over the last couple of days.
Philit rubbed at my shoulders, kneading out the tension in them. “What I was trying to say is: we can’t stay here at the academy. It’s clear that the king has it out for us. It’s too dangerous for Rayna.”
“For you too,” I pointed out.
“You are our priority,” was all Philit responded before laying out his plans. “We leave. Right now. It isn’t like we had much to begin with. We take off before they miss us, and we figure this shit out on our own.”
As Philit talked, he helped me to my feet and then to put my robe back on. Probably for the best considering my legs still felt like jelly, and I wasn’t so sure I’d be able to stand up again any time soon. My robe was dirty, and I’d have to toss it out now for sure.
“Agree. This place is dangerous for us. No one believes what happened between us all, and if we stick around for too long, they’ll start doing everything they can to break the bond,” Zilon said.
“Where will we go?” I asked.
“Anywhere but fucking here,” Landers said with a growl. “Fuck if I’ll let them put their hands on you. And that king is a massive creep.”
“So we’re all in agreement. We need to leave?” Philit asked.
I nodded. I was more than happy to get away from here. It wasn’t what I expected, and staying seemed more dangerous.
“Go as dragons?” Landers asked.
“It’d be too noticeable,” Philit said. “We should fly out as we are; we shouldn’t be as easily detectable. Then, once we’re farther away, we can change and fly as dragons.”
“Where will we go?” I asked in a soft voice, my stomach beginning to feel like it was twisting. “Isn’t this dangerous?”
“More dangerous than here?” Landers said. “I don’t want some perverted old fucker telling me who I can and cannot mate with. The creep.”
“Tell us how you really feel,” Philit said, sounding a bit bitter.
“If you I told you, I’d make poor Rayna’s ears bleed.”
I tried to lighten the mood, not wanting Landers to go into one of his spirals. “I’m from a farmer’s family. My ears can’t bleed. Farmers are very creative with their words when we have to deal with the unexpected, usually involving farm animal body parts and butchering.”
“We should probably get going,” Zilon said. “We already wasted a lot of time.”
