Page 117 of Darkest Deception

I hit Remo on his head, making his head snap to me in a glare.

“Sometimes you just gotta relax, man.” I wink at him, his glare hardens.

“Have a drink, go home, and let Aurora bake something sweet for you. She puts enough drugs in those to make you like her.”

Remo grabs the front of my shirt as he sneers down at me. “Don’t you fucking say that you like her now after the shit you pulled,” he snarls, then lets me go.

“Get the fuck out of here before I punch you and ruin that pretty face.”

“So you think I’m pretty?”

“Helia!”

“I’m going. Aurora might make you sleep in the living room tonight if you stay this grumpy, though.”

He lunges for me, but I rush away, my laughter booming down the hallway as I make my way towards the elevator.

I disable the signal on my phone, then put on a balaclava, my hoodie, black jeans, and boots, and I am on my way to the apartment the sisters share. They couldn’t go out tonight due to a stomach flu they all got.

What a pity that theirs drink from their regular cafe had some extreme ingredients in them.

I walk past security, easily climbing up the residential tower owned by Fox Madden himself. As I reach their apartment door, I pull out my phone and disable the cameras, then drop a message to Remo to let him know I am here.

Taking out a duplicate of their key card, I swipe it, and it clicks open.

The apartment is cloaked in darkness when I softly make my way inside. From what I know, there are three bedrooms, so I need to gather them all in one.

As soon as I enter through the first bedroom, I take out a white cloth and dip it in the chloroform bottle before walking up to the bed and pressing it against the woman’s mouth.

She jerks awake. Her eyes snap to me, panicked, and she thrashes in her bed, her nails scratching my gloved hand, but I press harder and wait. A second goes by. Her eyes roll to the back of her head, and she goes limp.

I repeat the process for the others, then carry them into one room. They are already wearing tank tops and shorts, so I don’t need to go the extra length to change them into something else.

I didn’t want to undress them. I’m not going to do that to Ambrose.

She will kill me if she saw me look at another woman’s body.

A chuckle escapes me just thinking of her placing her hands on her hips and lifting her brow at me, silently demanding for me to explain myself.

My cute little tigress.

Placing a chair in front of the three tied up sisters, I wait. I’ve gathered all the things already.

After twenty minutes or so, they will be awake.

My phone pings, and I take it out to see a message from Ambrose. I sit up straight.

Emerald: Seriously? Another note? Why can’t you leave me alone?

Attached with this message is a picture of the note I left her that said: You sleep pretty.

Me: You do. It’s not a lie.

Emerald: *middle finger emoji*

A laugh booms out of me, making one of the ladies jerk.

Me: I’ll take anything you give me. Even tonight when I will be there to have my fill of you.
