Daisy nodded, holding out the powder to him. “Want to give it a try?” she asked, her voice playful.

Roarke hesitated for a moment before reaching out, taking a pinch of the powder between his fingers. Together, they tossed it onto the embers, watching as the flames burst to life in a dazzling display of colors.

As the fire danced and flickered, images began to take shape within the flames. Daisy gasped, her eyes widening as she saw herself walking down the aisle, a vision in white lace and pink roses. Roarke stood at the altar, his face split in a wide grin as he watched her approach.

The image shifted, showing a cozy living room filled with laughter and love. Two children, a boy and a girl, played on the rug while Daisy and Roarke looked on, their faces glowing with pride and happiness.

More scenes flashed by, each one a glimpse into the life they would build together. Daisy felt tears at the corners of her eyes, overwhelmed by the love and joy she saw in their future.

As the last of the images faded away, Roarke turned to her, his own eyes suspiciously bright. “Was that real?” he asked, his voice rough with emotion.

Daisy nodded, a watery smile on her face. “It was a glimpse of what could be,” she said softly, taking his hand in hers. “A promise of the future we’ll create together.”

Roarke pulled her into his arms, holding her close. They stayed like that for a long moment, basking in the warmth of each other’s presence and the hope of all that was to come.

Finally, reluctantly, they pulled apart, knowing it was time to head back to reality. As they made their way out of the cottage and back toward town, Daisy felt a sense of harmony wash over her, a certainty that everything was exactly as it was meant to be.

They arrived back at Ellie and Reed’s house just as the sun was cresting over the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold. As they stepped inside, they were greeted by the sound of Asher’s happy babbling, the little boy wide awake and ready to start the day.

Daisy scooped him up into her arms out of the stroller, nuzzling his soft cheek with her nose. “Good morning, little man,” she cooed, bouncing him gently. “Did you have sweet dreams?”

Asher gurgled in response, his tiny hands reaching out to tug on a lock of Daisy’s hair. She laughed, turning to Roarke with a grin.

“I think he’s trying to tell me something,” she joked, untangling her hair from his grasp.

Roarke chuckled, reaching out to tickle Asher’s belly. “Maybe he’s trying to tell you that pink is his color,” he teased, gesturing to the bright neon strands.

Daisy stuck her tongue out at him, but she couldn’t hide a smile. “Very funny,” she said, rolling her eyes. “But I’ll have you know that pink is a very powerful color in the magical world.”

“Oh really?” he asked, his tone playful. “And what kind of power does it hold?”

Daisy grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye. “The power of love, of course,” she said, leaning in to press a kiss to his cheek. “And if you’re very lucky, maybe I’ll show you just how powerful that can be.”

Roarke’s eyes darkened, a hint of desire in his gaze. “I look forward to it,” he murmured, his voice low and husky.

Before Daisy could respond, the front door swung open, revealing a beaming Ellie and Reed. They took one look at the scene before them - Daisy and Roarke holding a giggling Asher between them - and their smiles widened.

“Well, well, well,” Ellie said, her voice teasing. “Looks like someone had a good evening.”

Daisy felt a blush heat her cheeks, but she couldn’t hide the joy that radiated from every pore. “The best,” she said softly, glancing up at Roarke with a smile.

Reed clapped Roarke on the shoulder, a knowing grin on his face. “Congratulations, man,” he said, his voice warm with approval. “You two are perfect for each other.”

Roarke ducked his head, a rare show of shyness from the usually stoic panther shifter. “Thanks,” he said gruffly, his hand finding Daisy’s and giving it a squeeze.

As they said their good-byes and made their way out into the bright, autumn morning, Daisy felt a sense of excitement buzzing through her veins. There was still so much to do, so many plans to make, and challenges to face. But with Roarke by her side, she felt like anything was possible.

They walked hand in hand through the streets of Whispering Pines, the town just beginning to wake up around them. As they passed by the Phantasm Pharmacy, Daisy caught a glimpse of her reflection in the window, her bright pink hair and colorful outfit a stark contrast to Roarke’s dark, brooding presence.

But as she looked closer, she saw something else - a light in her eyes that hadn’t been there before, a joy that seemed to radiate from every pore. And she knew with certainty that it went bone-deep, that this was exactly where she was meant to be.

As they turned the corner, Daisy spotted a familiar figure waiting for them. Luna stood with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.

“Well, if it isn’t the happy couple,” she said, her voice warm with affection. “I was hoping I’d run into you two this morning.”

Daisy grinned, pulling Luna into a hug. “We were just on our way to see you, actually,” she said, stepping back to take Roarke’s hand. “We have some news.”

Luna’s eyes widened, her gaze darting to the emerald ring that sparkled on Daisy’s finger. “Oh my,” she breathed, her face breaking into a wide smile. “Congratulations, my dears. This is wonderful news.”
