I smile, satisfied that the bug I dropped in her purse that night at the bar seems to be in working order and she has yet to notice it.
Not the most observant girl, but she’s gorgeous, so I’ll give her a pass.
I smirk to myself, thinking about the night at the bar. I wasn’t planning on letting things escalate between us like they did, but her body moving against mine sent heat straight to my pussy. I had to have her.
A deep voice billows out of the speaker, “I will bring the car around.”
My shoulders slump. Yet again, she will have at least one person accompanying her. To get her away from her security detail will be no easy feat. Not that we can’t take on her men, but we want to do this as seamlessly and quietly as possible until Allister receives the ransom note.
I quickly shuffle through the makeshift fabric divider that separates the back from the driver and passenger’s seat. Climbing into the seat, I fasten the seat belt and anxiously wait for her to emerge from the building.
“She’s coming.” I say, turning my head in the direction of the front lobby.
Within minutes she is walking through the frosted glass doors. She is wearing a capped sleeve tunic dress that hugs her curves, tan wedges, and her long blonde hair is pulled up into a high ponytail sitting on top of her head. She completes the ensemble with oversized Dior sunglasses, and a Louis Vuitton tote bag.
The girl screams money. Hopefully, Daddy dearest will pay the bid money this time. I would hate to have to torture her for too long.
The thought makes my insides tingle.
Shado catches me smirking to myself, “What is going on in that beautiful, twisted head of yours?”
“Mmm…I’m reminiscing.” I giggle.
He groans, “Not fair, Cal.”
Leaning back into the seat, I grin at him. “Awww, what’s wrong Daddy? Sad you missed the show?”
“Devastated, bunny.” He flashes me a devilish smile.
As much as I want to climb over the middle console, straddle his lap and ride him into oblivion, I know we need to focus on following Quinn.
Looking in their direction, I see her black SUV begin to propel forward.
I nod toward them and Shado shifts the van into drive as we cautiously follow behind them.
“1136 Vanguard Avenue.” I hear Quinn order her driver through the earpiece.
“That’s the building past Vanguard Enterprises.” Shado says out loud.
“Yeah, it’s home to Elysium, Edinburgh’s newest fancy restaurant.”
As we continue following them, Shado sees them come to a stop in front of the restaurant’s valet. As he parallel parks across the street, I undo my seatbelt. Quinn steps out of the excursion and walks over to a group of loud women, dressed to impress and party the night away.
Sighing, I point to them. “We can’t very well kidnap her tonight in the middle of a restaurant.” Looking down at my black buckled skirt and black crop top with my boots, I laugh. “I’m not exactly dressed to walk in there and get her alone again.”
He looks over at me with a boyish grin, “We’re alone.”
“You are such a typical man.” I giggle as I roll my eyes.
Shado lets out an exasperated sigh and pulls me across the middle console onto his lap. I straddle him, my knees grinding against the sides of the car door and middle console.
“I am the furthest thing from a typical man, little bunny,” he whispers as he runs his hands through my hair softly. The relaxing sensation sends tingles down my spine and I immediately want to melt into him.
He turns off the ignition to the van. His hands leave my hair and lightly graze down my back and cup my ass. Instinctively, I begin to grind my hips into him as he leans his head back, watching me move against him.
Looking around, the sky around us is orange as the sun sets behind the buildings of Edinburgh. There are people walking all around the van across the street to the restaurant.
Good thing the windows are tinted.
