I glanced back just once to see her at the workstation, typing in her password, already moving on with her day.
So, the director of IT herself was the one who decided to come down here to investigate.
I highly doubted she was here just to do her job.
We had to move fast or she might find a way to hide any potential evidence.
“Let’s head to the next part of our tour.” Liam gave me a smirk but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “What do you think so far, gorgeous?”
“It’s really nice,” I murmured, digging my fingers into his side when I felt a spike of panic from both him and Cas.
Liam kissed my cheek and opened the door to the hall. “We have an Olympic-sized swimming pool on the first floor. Would you like to see it?”
“I want to see anything you want to show me, Alpha.” And I meant it.
The second the door was closed, Liam shoved me against the wall and covered my whole body with his. “On second thought, why don’t I show you how extensive our fleet of cars is?”
His eyes searched mine, silently asking if I needed anything else from inside the building, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, in awe that he would fight his overwhelming instincts like this.
For me.
Liam had always been a big talker, but he backed it all up with his actions every chance he got.
I was his omega and he was going to do everything in his power to keep me safe and happy, even if it went against everything his legacy alpha genes were telling him to do. I wanted to be a private detective. I wanted to keep working in the field whenever I could. And he was going to make sure that choosing him didn’t take anything I wanted away from me.
“Show me all your stupid cars,” I whispered, pulling myself up to get close enough to kiss him. “Show me which one has the most room.”
Cas cursed softly in my ear and Liam kissed me hard enough my lip split and I tasted blood.
Every inch of him pressed me against the wall, proving just how hard he was. My alphas were losing it and there was only one guaranteed way that would calm them down.
“Are you sure?” Liam pulled back and buried his face against my neck, biting his bond mark over my turtleneck. “What about Frankie?”
“Frankie already left and I’ve got eyes on her,” Cas told us. “She’s going straight to the Lopez compound.”
Liam chuckled. “Even still…we might get caught.”
Normally, that kind of thing would freak me out but the worst had already happened. The world knew Liam and I were together.
Soon, they’d know we were bonded too.
Maybe…maybe getting caught could even help us.
No, that wasn’t something I wanted to deal with right now, but I was definitely willing to risk it.
I slid my hand down and cupped Liam’s hard length, squeezing the secondary knot that was already pulsing against me. “I don’t care if we get caught.”
Liam groaned, dropping his head to my shoulder. “Lucy, baby…”
“You’re killing me, sweetheart,” Cas murmured through the open call. “I can’t sit here and listen to that.”
“Then maybe you’ll finally know exactly how I felt,” Liam growled.
“Please…” I whispered, feeling my pussy throb in time with my heartbeat. “I want to hear Cas touch himself while you fuck me, Alpha.”
Liam snarled softly before biting down on my shoulder. “You’re going to regret provoking me, Omega.”
I grinned when he grabbed my wrist and yanked me toward the elevators. I definitely wasn’t going to regret it.
