XANDER
“Melissa,” Sedric booms. “Thank you for joining us.”
Melissa had put her blonde hair up in a twisted bun with small tendrils framing her face. Her eyes are downcast, as she flashes her father an apologetic smile.
“Sorry, Papa.” She kisses her father on the cheek, her eyes darting over to mine nervously before narrowing in on the seat between Gianna and me.
Mother is at the head of the table in Father’s absence while Sedric has taken the opposite head. My brothers Alec and Declan are arguing over something I'm sure is of a lot less importance than the fact that Melissa looks delectable in her dress. Her tits bubble over the v-cut and I have to readjust myself as she whispers in her father’s ear.
“Come on. Sit, Mel.” Gianna teases and I raise an eyebrow at Melissa, and she turns aways from me. A rush of vanilla flows over me as she sits next to me, slightly moving away from me. A light chuckle erupts in my chest, but before I can respond, Mother clinks her glass.
“Thank you for inviting us to this dinner, Sedric.”
“Call it a sign of good faith. I am disappointed Amory isn’t here.”
“He will be here soon, but see this as a sign of trust because he trusts me to be safe until he gets here.” Sedric laughs humorlessly, raising a glass to the table, and we all raise a glass in a sign of respect.
Melissa is looking straight ahead, a tight smile on her lips. I drag my fingertips lightly up her thigh watching how her breath shallows.
Without looking directly at her I whisper, “You look beautiful, Sole.”
Her smile tightens, and she crosses her legs away from me. A challenge.
Alec, my immediate younger brother, interjects. “So how are negotiations going? Must be a pain in the ass dealing with these two old men.”
“Alec,” Mother snaps, but Sedric laughs.
Declan, the middle brother, chimes in. “Mother, you know Alec, quick to put his foot in his mouth.”
Knox, the youngest in the family, rolls his eyes and whispers into Gianna’s ear, passing her his phone. She snorts and passes the phone to Melissa as I watch.
She giggles softly, looking over at Knox, taking the phone from Gianna, my eyes tracking the movement of her body. I want to swipe the phone from Knox and move her chair closer to mine.
I look away from them to find Alec smirking at me as though he can read my thoughts. He shakes his head. “How was it today?”
“No discussing business at the table when we have strangers. Enemies no less!” Father’s voice breaks into the conversation like a whip and we all sit straight. Even Knox lifts his head.
Father walks over to Mother and presses a kiss to her cheeks and she moves to the chair beside him. His brow is already scrunched as he greets Sedric with a curt nod.
Sedric shrugs, a smug look on his face. “I am glad you still see me as an enemy.”
I look at Melissa who is looking down at the table and whisper into her ear, “Are you ignoring me?”
Melissa shifts her attention to Gianna, and a flash of anger shoots through my body.
“Xander, tell me about Amory Corp.?” Sedric asks.
“Sedric, do you take me for a fool?” I laugh, and my hand grips Melissa’s thigh underneath the table.
She hiccups, sitting straight up in her chair. I move my hand towards her inner thigh, and as if she can’t control herself, she opens her legs slightly.
The aroma of garlic and tomatoes fills the air as an array of bruschetta is set in front of each of us. “Mel, your favorite.” Sedric smiles, but I drag my fingers trailing up the softness of her to play with the soft lace of her panties, and she catches her breath smiling at her father.
“Mine, too,” I purr.
My finger danced along the edge of her panties, pushing the fabric lightly between her lower lips. Mel is fucking soaked; she sucks on her bottom lip to keep from moaning in front of both of our families.
“Mel, how are your studies coming?” She coughs covering up the moan that almost escapes her lips. I push her thong to the side, lightly brushing her bead. Her hand lands on my thigh.
