Hiding her head in her arms, Windsor mutters something unintelligible, so we give her a break and settle into the chairs at her side.
Tucker
“What are you doing, gorgeous?”
I approach Windsor from behind as she sits on the edge of the dock, staring into the dark water, and her head turns back to me. “Do you think there’s anything in there?”
“Such as?” I know where she’s going with this, so I sit beside her and drop my feet in the water as Tanner comes up behind us.
“Don’t do that!” she screeches, drawing attention from the canoers on the water.
Chuckling, I reach down and splash some water up at her. “Why not?”
“Giant man-eating crocodiles, you fool!” Horror is written all over her face.
Tanner jumps in, splashing us both, and she scrambles back. “Tanner! Get out of there before it eats you!”
Gripping her thighs, my brother pulls himself up out of the water and leans against her legs. “Baby, you’re safe here. Nothing’s going to eat you.” I cough, and we share a look. “Other than us,” Tanner amends. “Water’s nice and warm,” he coaxes as he pushes back from the dock, evading her grasping hands.
“Come back here. You can’t see in this water; you don’t know what’s in there.” She’s locked in fear over this.
Slipping down into the lake, I hold out a hand for her just as Tanner ducks under the water. “Come on, babe, get wet with us.” She glares at me before noticing Tanner is gone.
“Was he eaten?” Her whisper is comical.
“No, babe, I’m right here.” She jumps when Tanner wraps his arms around her from behind after climbing back up on the dock quietly, and his lips seek hers out.
“I can’t. I know nothing is there. But I watched that movie too many times to just jump into a lake called Lake Placid. It’s like camping at Crystal Lake—you’re bound to die.” Her reasoning is hilarious but oddly logical.
“Fair enough, babe.” Tanner kisses her one more time before jumping off the end of the dock in a back flip and soaking her with his splash before popping back up with a grin on his face.
“Asshole,” she mutters, getting to her feet and spinning around to ditch us, only she slips on the wet wood and falls backwards, her arms pinwheeling as she screams, landing in the water half a foot away from me.
Diving under, I’m quick to haul her up in my arms. Pushing the hair back from her face, concern freezes my heart until she’s sputtering and trying to get back on dry land.
“Hey, hey, calm down, Winds. I’ve got you. You’re not going anywhere.” Her panicked eyes meet mine before she nods and wraps her arms around my neck and legs around my waist.
Tanner jumps up on the dock, reaching out for her and hauling her up next to him and into his arms. “Ssshhh, baby doll, you’re safe.” He kisses her face until she begins to relax in his embrace.
Getting out of the water myself, I grip her hand in mine and bring it to my mouth to kiss her rapid pulse. “Feel like grabbing a late lunch?” She nods hesitantly before Tan leads her back up to our cabana. Glancing back at the water, I can’t help but wonder if her fear stems from more than watching scary movies.
Pushing the thought away for now, I admire the bite marks we left on her ass as she walks in front of me. It’s a beautiful sight I can’t get enough of.
As we approach our cabana, I see lunch has already been served by a dark-haired man walking away. Usually, I’d tip, but Windsor steals all my focus when she squeals with excitement over a dessert she loves but rarely indulges in.
“How on earth would they know how much I love devil’s food cheesecake?” Her sigh as she bends over and takes a bite is reminiscent of the sounds she makes when she comes apart for us, and all I can picture is my dick in her mouth again.
“Bite?” She offers up a forkful to each of us, but we both shake our heads no. “More for me!” Her smile is radiant as she takes a seat on the lounge chair and devours the single slice of cake while I make her a plate with the finger sandwiches and fresh-cut fruit.
I’ve never seen a woman make love to food with her mouth before, and the picture she makes is stunning. I can’t wait to see it more often.
CHAPTER 10
Windsor
Gasping awake, I feel both freezing cold and boiling hot at the same time. The urge to vomit pushes at me as I try to crawl my way from the bed without waking Tanner and Tucker. I know I’m unsuccessful when I land on the floor with a loud thump and a painful groan.
“Whoa, baby, we’ll help,” one of them says. I’m shaking my head as I make a mad dash for the bathroom, slamming the door in someone’s face before heaving over the toilet bowl.
