The sting of tears pushes me over the edge. “Mom?” I scoff. “You want to see Mom? You are such a selfish asshole!” I scream into the phone. “Mom has been dead for a year, and I couldn’t tell you because I didn’t know how to reach you!” The twins exit their office at my outburst.
“Dead?” He breathes, shocked. “What happened?”
Rage fuels my next words. “She had cancer for three years; you saw her twice. She told you she was sick, but you’re a selfish bastard and were too concerned about your two other families to give a shit about her or me to ever check in and see if we needed anything. Was it worth it? To have three daughters who don’t know the other exists their entire lives? The betrayal, did it feel good? Did it make you feel like a real man to abandon one family after the other all this time?” I’m nearly huffing after spitting that all out at once.
Tucker takes the phone from me, mumbles something into the receiver I don’t comprehend, and then hangs up before he and Tanner pull me into their arms.
“I’m sorry,” I whisper. I am sorry for the outburst at work. For interrupting their day.
“Nothing to be sorry about, baby. If that was your father, then we understand. He deserved ten times what you said to him.” I nod into Tanner's chest, thankful for their understanding.
Hardening my spine, I pull back and glance up between the two of them. “I should go home and pack a bag. Right?” The idea of getting away for a weekend sounds wonderful.
Tucker
Windsor was quiet the entire drive to Lake Placid. She hadn't spoken much after we took her home to grab a bag. Not even to ask what our destination was. It’s worrying because she’s an inquisitive woman. As much as I’d like to believe we have her trust, I’m not sure we’ve gained that much of it.
It’s close to eleven p.m. by the time we arrive. Stopping in front of the valet, Tanner hands the man our keys as another grabs our bags. Opening the back door, I gently wake up Windsor. She blinks a few times before gifting me with a smile, and her eyes soften as I help her out.
“This is beautiful,” she murmurs as we enter the hotel. The white marble floors with flecks of gold are stunning. Her eyes catch on the abstract paintings before she gasps and rushes off to a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling fish tank that looks like an underwater escape from reality. I’ve never seen anything like it, so I doubt she has either.
As we approach the front desk, the receptionist watches us with predatory eyes as she discreetly tries to adjust her outfit to show off more of her chest. Tan and I share a look and roll our eyes. She’s not the first one who will have tried to get our attention. Like all before her, it won’t work.
“Checking in?” She gives a bright smile with sultry eyes, and I’m ready to let a rude retort rip, but Tanner beats me to the punch.
“We are. With our wife.” I grin at his word choice. Not so angry about him speaking up first now. Her eyes flick around before landing on Windsor, and jealousy clouds her vision.
“Cute.” She gives a tight smile this time. After taking our name and credit card, she hands us a key and tells us our room number. “Are you sure neither of you will need company this evening?” she tries again.
Windsor takes this moment to walk up to us, and from the gleam in her eyes, I know she heard the woman. Placing one hand on Tanner's chest, she leans up to give me a kiss, which I eagerly accept—taking from her until she’s breathless and flushed.
“Are we all checked in?” Her back remains to the woman hitting on us, completely ignoring her.
“We are, darling.” Tanner cups her jaw and tilts her head up, taking a kiss of his own before we begin to lead her away.
“You are quite subtle.” I glance down at her as we enter the elevator, shuttling us up to our suite on the fifth floor.
“Was I?” Christ, I can’t get enough of her saccharine smile. Pulling her back into my front, I nibble on her neck, nipping and kissing along the length until she melts against me.
“You know you were.” Pushing my aching dick into her lower back, I let her feel exactly what she does to me.
As the elevator dings and the panels open to our floor, Tanner strides ahead of us, sliding the card into the door sensor and pushing it open as I pick Windsor up and carry her over the threshold.
“Holy cow!” She struggles out of my grip and rushes to the window to take in the view of the moonlit lake and surrounding trees. “This isn’t the one they filmed that movie on, is it?” She’s biting her lip as she turns to peer over at us.
Laughing, I shake my head. “No, that was in Maine.” She nods and turns back around.
I see our bags have already been delivered, and I move to get them out of the way. We booked a suite so we wouldn’t have to rely on room service if we didn’t want to. I suspect we will utilize the service anyway.
“Going to get ice,” I tell Tanner as he begins taking off his shirt and approaching Windsor. It takes less than a minute to fill the bucket and make it back to our room.
What I find is a sight that’ll remain forefront in my mind for the rest of my life—Tanner on his knees behind Windsor, kissing along her now-bare back, skirt lifted over her plump ass. A pretty red thong nestles between those sexy cheeks of hers.
She’s got her hands raised above her head, fists clasped against the window, with her forehead pressing into the cool glass, and I can see the reflection of her pointed nipples swaying as she shudders under my brother’s touch.
Placing the ice bucket down, I secure the door locks and strip until I’m in nothing but my boxers. Silently, I move in front of Windsor, kneeling as my brother is and kissing along her soft belly.
“Oh god,” she whispers when she opens her eyes to find me level with her pussy.
