I should be mortified that he’d gone through that, but this was the same man whose dick I’d sucked last night. “I thought that was what all you CEOs wanted out of your secretaries.” My low burn stopped all three of them.
Garrett sat rigid, his mouth falling open a bit. Chase and Russell eyed each other. Tension crackled through the room, causing a single bead of sweat to trickle down my neck and into the valley between my breasts. I breathed through the moment. Who would crack first? My money was on Garrett. He seemed to have the best sense of humor.
Chase shrugged, his faint smile all the motivation I needed to relax. Russell’s quiet chuckle broke the quiet and surprised me. I’d thought he was the hard-ass who didn’t know how to have any fun. “You had that coming.”
A heated look slammed over Chase when he met my eyes. Lightning crackled between us, as potent and restless as a midsummer storm. I wanted him all over again, deal or no deal. One time definitely was not enough, but the rules were clear. I broke eye contact with Chase, letting him have the win this time. I’d spent hours reading over Grady International’s policies and procedures. No interpersonal relationships were allowed within the company. They even specified that a “relationship” could be anything from dating to casual sex and one-night stands. Basically, I was shit out of luck.
Their laughter died down. Russell ran a hand over his face and slapped Chase on the back. “I like this one. Try not to run her off.”
Oh, trust me, I wasn’t going anywhere until I found out who was stealing from Dad’s company. If Miranda was right, Grady was suffering the same problem. How could two tech companies be losing information like this? Coincidence or was the same person going back and forth between the two? Were other companies at risk or had they lost tech and refused to admit to it?
“Now that we’re all on the same page.” Chase speared me with another look. “Let’s get back to business.”
“Where are we with the new game?” Russell and Garrett tossed around ideas for an interactive game they’d been working on while I resumed my note-taking. They had great ideas, brilliant, really. It infuriated me but also intrigued me. They seemed genuine in their process. I didn’t see any of these men as thieves.
Sure, they bent the rules to suit them, hence my sore thighs and burning muscles from my one-time sexcapade with Chase, but they were not malicious. They had no reason to be.
“You’ll be with me tomorrow.” Russell stood and scooted his chair beneath the black table. “You’ll rotate throughout the week between all three of us.”
A smart remark perched on the edge of my lips. I’d like to rotate between the three of them all right, but not the way he meant. I licked my dry lips and attempted to formulate a polite response that allowed me to keep my job.
“My schedule is a mess.” Garrett shrugged what passed as an apology. “I’m always overbooking myself. If you could sort that out for me, I’d appreciate it.”
“So, my job is to answer phones, manage schedules …” I trailed off. “No one gave me a list of my actual duties.” I risked looking at Chase. “Though I know there’s one thing I’m exclusively prohibited from. Don’t worry. I’m not desperate enough to follow you into the bathroom.”
His head jerked up and he fisted the chair arms. I’d hit him with a direct blow to his pride, and it felt damned good to have a little bit of power back. He pushed to his feet and crossed to stand in front of me. I remained seated, letting him put his waist at eye level, his cock right in line with my mouth. He stopped far enough away that our positions were acceptable without being sexual, but we both knew the truth. “You knew the risks, Sabrina. This is the job I had available.”
I didn’t even try to stop the smile from forming. “I understand, sir. It’s my pleasure to work for a company as large as Grady.” My gaze lingered on his cock tucked away, the inflection in my voice telling him all I needed. “I’m sure the ride is well worth the pleasure of learning something new.”
Let the games begin. I had every intention of following the rules, but I could have fun at the same time. Chase Grady had never met anyone like me before. I might be the family screwup, but I was one of a kind. And he damned well better get used to that.
“Well then.” Garrett shifted his weight, and I caught the slide of his hand down the front of his pants as he adjusted himself beneath the table before he stood. “That was an enlightening conversation. I’ll need you to keep me on task for appointments. No notes or messages on my computer. I need you to physically walk into my office and tell me when it’s time to leave, who I’m meeting, and why.” He moved to stand behind Chase, his attention zeroing in on me.
A bug under a microscope received less attention than me right now. I reveled in the feeling of power. I had them all looking at me, focusing on me. What would that be like in the bedroom? What would it be like to have their sole attention for no reason other than to drive ourselves crazy? I’d never had sex with a man like Chase. And I’d definitely never had sex with more than one man at a time. There was no reason for me to be thinking about that now except their raw masculinity wrapped up in powerful suits drew me in. I’d never had control over anything in my life, but I had a single moment here where they watched me for the next move.
“You’ll also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships between fellow companies. Adams Apps is one of our long-time friendly rivals. We meet several times a year and conversations between companies happen on a weekly basis. Which means you’ll occasionally speak with employees from other companies.” Chase remained right in front of me, neither of us giving an inch.
Russell spoke from behind me. “Case in point. We have a three o’clock meeting with Adams and his team. We need you there to take notes.”

GARRETT
I’d never been so glad to get out of a meeting room. Sabrina was something else. Something dangerous. I couldn’t handle being around a firecracker like her for long without something—mainly me—getting burned. I sank into the corner of the private elevator and scrubbed both hands down my face as I attempted to regain control. “We can’t do this.” I glared down at the semi tenting my pants. “She’s too young, and she’s an employee. Chase’s free pass is not our free pass.” I loved the man like a brother, and even though we were CEOs together, he founded the company. I looked up to him. The way Sabrina challenged him in the meeting was hot as hell. It did not give me the right to think about getting her into my bed. “Fuck.” I palmed my dick and groaned when the elevator doors opened.
The tantalizing scent of coffee permeated the air. I drank it in like it might save my life and forced my feet to move from the safety the elevator provided.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I snatched it up, waiting until I’d poured my coffee before I answered Russell with a low “What?” as I grabbed a lid.
“We’re leaving in ten minutes. Leon has moved up the appointment. Something about a conflict later this afternoon. He wants to meet now.”
“I’m getting coffee.” I slid around the tall counter and ducked into the quiet nook in the corner where we kept all the best coffee syrups.
Russell huffed. “Get it to go.”
I eyed the paper cup in my hand and snorted. “Obviously. I’m not going to sit down here and drink it.” My voice was too low, too tense. Any minute now Russell would hear it and call me out on the bullshit mood I found myself in since leaving the meeting room.
“It’s ridiculous.” The low hiss traveled around the corner, the sound catty and feminine and decidedly pissed off. “You can’t tell me a woman like that is qualified to be Mr. Grady’s assistant.”
