This was reality. Noah was real and so was the way she felt about him. And the way he kissed her told her everything she needed to know about him.

“You taste so good," he said when he took a quick breath. Then his lips were right back on hers, kissing her even more profoundly.

Zara revelled in his kisses. How his lips felt against hers, the way his hands held her face, and the sounds he made. The best part, almost better than the kiss, was when it ended, and he wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tightly.

“I missed you,” she mumbled the words into his shoulder, not even sure if he could hear her.

Noah’s arms loosened, and he pulled back, a big smile on his face. “I'm so glad you're here.” The words held so much happiness, and she could tell how true they were.

She shifted a little, pulling the covers up over her lap. He took that invitation and slid under them with her. “I saw that you had a good game.”

He nodded. “I was just trying to end the game quicker. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it.”

She laughed, rolling her eyes. “If sex were that big of a motivator, I think all athletes would have figured it out by now.”

“Knowing there is hot sex waiting for you when the game ends is a huge motivator, and can I just say, coming home to you naked on the bed using a vibrator is a fantasy I didn't know I needed in my life.”

“I aim to please.”

He leaned in, pressing his forehead to hers. “You sure do.”

They got lost in each other for the next few hours, talking, kissing, and making love again. When they were both worn out, they fell asleep, wrapped tightly around each other.

“Why do you keep rolling your shoulders like that?” Hannah asked.

Hannah had flown in for the animal shelter auction and tagged along to the Emperor's game with Zara. She rarely got to see her brother play since their schedules didn’t line up often.

As a bonus, Zara didn’t have to worry about being seen alone at Noah’s game. Not that they were hiding their relationship because that wasn’t the case.
