“Yeah, but never close enough.” I threw my leg over hers, but we still weren’t close enough.
Her body heat and little snores lulled me to sleep, as they had so many nights before.
“Psssssst, wake up,”Desmond whispered. I cracked my eyes to see him sitting in the chair next to Diana’s side of the bed.
Fuck, I forgot to lock the room down.
“No, fuck off,” Diana mumbled as she rolled over. I grabbed her hips and adjusted my leg over her before smushing my face right in the middle of her tits. No one was getting in the way of me sleeping all over those juicy, jiggly pillows.
“But I brought a box of donuts…and cherry cola.”
“What kind of donuts?” she asked. She was a sucker for sweets, and I had the feeling Desmond knew what he was doing.
He opened the box, and the sweet, sharp smell of sugar filled the room. “Death by chocolate with a chocolate ganache frosting. Michael made sure to pack them up for you after you disappeared.”
Diana sat up, and my face was left out in the cold. “Gimme.”
Desmond cleared his throat, giving her his signature look—hisdon’t fuck with me, I’m Daddy Desmondexpression that made both of us weak in the knees. I’d known Desmond for almost 300 years and I still haven’t found a way to resist it.
Neither had Diana, but unlike me, she kept trying to find one. She crossed her arms, throwing him the brattiest, most feral refusal I’d ever seen. Desmond picked up a chocolate donut, slowly unwrapped the paper, and licked the frosting. Diana’s mouth dropped when he took a huge bite and licked a crumb off his full bottom lip.
He never plays fair,I linked her.Just say please and hope that’s all he wants for a donut.
No.
“Those were for me, not you,” she snarked. “Now you owe me a donut.”
Desmond’s rich, full laughter floated across the room. “Possession is nine tenths of the law. Weren’t you planning on going to law school before we abducted you? You should know that.”
Oof.Desmond hit a sore spot. Steam billowed from Diana’s ears, and she made to climb out of the bed. Before her feet touched the ground, Desmond’s shadows whipped out from his free hand and held her in place in a sitting position on the side of the bed.
“If you’d like a donut, you can say please, like a good girl, instead of acting like a spoiled brat,” he ordered her in a firm tone.
“I’ll set the entire box on fire if you don’t get your shadows off me right now,” Diana threatened. She’d do it, too. Our woman didn’t fuck around.
Desmond scoffed, then lit the box on fire himself. “Hope you like them a little on the burnt side.”
“What the actual fuck, stop!” she shouted.
“You can apologize whenever you want,” he said in a bored tone.
Just apologize, because I wanna try them too,I linked her. Knowing Desmond neither of us would get one if she kept this up.
She sighed, then flippantly recited “I’m sorry.”
He immediately extinguished the fire, revealing an unburnt, white cardboard box. Diana and I exchanged a curious glance.
“I’m not going to waste good food, that was a parlor trick,” he assured us as his shadows retracted, freeing Diana. “However, you still owe me a please and a decent apology. That seemed really insincere.”
Diana got off the bed, and stood in front of Desmond, a decently contrite frown on her face. “Desmond, I am very sorry for being rude. I appreciate that you brought us back donuts from the meeting. May I please have one?”
He took one out of the box. “Kneel, right there.” He pointed between his knees. “That’s the only way you’re getting a donut after that behavior.”
Her mouth dropped, and I could hear her heartbeat racing. The smell of her arousal wafted through the air, and I couldn’t help but get aroused too. I sported a total semi just from them verbally sparring back and forth. Desmond’s dominance was like a straight up aphrodisiac.
The more you resist him, the worse he’ll get. You know this,I linked her.
Desmond was a cruel, sadistic man sometimes, and she was better off playing his game now than waiting for retribution later. I also wanted to see her kneel for him, because that would be hot as fuck. The door opened, and Bash and Azazel walked in and sat on the bed next to me.
