Reaching out to cup her face with my other hand, I say, “I don’t think anything could.” I lean in, waiting for her to meet me halfway, and she does. Her lips touch mine just as the ride jolts back into motion, but our mouths don’t part.

Willow dives into the kiss just as much as I do, gently moving her lips over mine, teasing me with her tongue as the Ferris wheel continues to spin.

I pull her closer to me, lunging deeper into her mouth, burying my hands in her hair like I envisioned doing the second I saw her tonight, showing her that what’s happening between us is just as thrilling as the view we shared.

When we part, we’re both breathing heavily, resting our foreheads on each other’s.

“God, why do you have to be so good at that?” she mumbles.

“There are other talents I possess too, Willow. Ones you haven’t even experienced yet.”

She leans back, staring directly into my eyes. “Care to share them with me sometime?”

“Just tell me when and I’m yours.”

“How about right now?”

My heart skips a beat, but my dick jumps at the idea. “Uh, we’re kind of strapped into a giant metal wheel at the moment.”

Her laughter rings out as she tips her head back. But then she moves closer to me again, pressing her lips to mine before dragging my bottom lip between her teeth. “Maybe I need to be more clear.”

My dick hardens painfully, but I manage to rasp out. “That might help.”

She licks her bottom lip, eyes glittering in the remaining sunlight in the sky. “Take me home, Dallas, and give me another experience I won’t soon forget.”

I’ve never been in a car accident before, but something tells me I’m tempting fate as I speed back to Willows’ house. And the fact that she’s been touching my cock, teasing me through my pants for the past five minutes, isn’t helping.

“Fuck, Willow. Are you trying to make me crash?” I ask as she nibbles on my ear lobe from her spot next to me on the bench seat.

“You’d better not. Otherwise, our night might end up in a hospital instead of with you buried inside of me.”

“Jesus.” I grip the steering wheel harder as her lips move to my neck, licking and teasing my skin there, her palm continuing to rub my length.

Her phone buzzes in her purse again, making her groan. And even though she moves away from me to check it, part of me is relieved since it allows me to focus on getting us back to her place in one piece.

“This must be important. It’s my assistant and she’s been calling me all night.”

“Then answer it. I don’t mind,” I assure her.

“I just didn’t want work to affect our date.”

Grasping her hand, I bring it to my lips and press them to her skin. “It’s not. I own a business too, remember? I get it.”

Her soft smile hints that she appreciates my understanding, and then she hits a few buttons on the phone before bringing it to her ear. “Katrina. What is it?” I can faintly hear another voice on the line while Willow listens to what her assistant is saying. “He has a lot of nerve making that threat. Does he not remember the one hundred fifty million dollars we helped him make last quarter?”

One hundred fifty million?

Jesus, just how successful is her company?

“Well, tell Fletcher that if he wants to continue to dominate the tech field, he needs to be patient. Remind him that we haven’t let him down yet, nor will we in the future. But good ideas take time.” Another break in the conversation. “Yes, I’ll touch base with you tomorrow and I’ll be on the call to reassure him myself.” I hit the blinker to turn onto Bayshore Drive. “It’s okay. Just call him back and promise him I will speak with him tomorrow. Thanks, Katrina.”

Willow ends the call and then breathes out heavily.

“Everything okay?” I ask as I pull into the spot behind her house.

“Yeah, just one of my biggest clients being impatient. We’re designing a new advertising campaign for his company, but it’s taking longer than normal, and he’s getting antsy. He’s talking about looking for a different firm.”
