ORIA
The room was cool when I woke up in the middle of the night. I reached over to where Gray had been laying, but the bed was empty. It felt weird being by myself after spending so much time with the twins these last few days. After being alone for so long, I thought I would have tired of them being near, but I craved their proximity.
We spent the last day in bed eating, talking and listening to music. They talked about movies, how the world had changed in the last hundred years, and how they didn’t think I would recognize it.
Soren and Gray were getting along better and just for a moment, it felt amazing to have them with me as we talked and enjoyed everyone’s company.
Knowing I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep, I got out of bed and walked down the stairs, hearing them talking softly. When I heard my name, I stopped walking, wondering if I should just go back up the stairs.
“There has to be a way, Soren.” Gray sounded anguished.
“We will find it. Maybe when Ryder gets back, he can help us,” Soren said.
It warmed my heart that they had each other, but they were also worried about their friend Ryder. If they trusted him I would too, but another man worried me that he might do something unpredictable.
“I’m worried that he didn’t come back right away,” Gray said with a sigh.
I could feel his worry and slight fear in my chest. My feet moved automatically, wanting to comfort him, even if I had nothing to ease his worry.
“Blondie, what are you doing up?”
They stood up and for a moment I didn’t know who was who until Gray gave me a shy smile, then I noticed their difference in eye color.
Gray’s were slightly greener, but the way he carried himself was also different. He was maybe a little less confident than Soren, his presence wasn’t as loud as Soren’s.
“I know this is weird, but I woke up when I didn’t feel either one of you by me,” I said, feeling shy.
“I’m sorry, Sunshine.” Gray held his hand out to me, and I walked towards him. “We were talking, and we didn’t want to wake you.”
“It’s ok,” I said, curling up to Gray as he swung an arm around my shoulder, holding me close to the side of his body.
We sat across from Soren on the sofa. He watched us with rapt attention, his emerald gaze felt intimate like a lover’s caress. My body lit up with approval. Images of all of us together filtered through my mind, like a lightning strike that lit my brain up with endless possibilities of us together.
I cleared my throat and clenched my thighs together.
“Who is Ryder?” I asked, even though I kind of knew who he was, but I needed the distraction.
The room was quiet for a moment. My face grew red wondering if they could hear my thoughts.
“He’s our best friend and our business partner,” Gray said, adjusting himself on the couch.
“He’s the reason we do this,” Soren said, scrutinizing me, making my cheeks ten shades redder. “Are you ok, Blondie?”
“Of course,” I said, praying to the goddess that the redness in my cheeks went away.
“You smell aroused,” he said, leaning forwards and resting his elbows on his thighs.
“You smell fucking edible,” Gray growled.
My thighs clenched together again and the whimper that escaped me should have made it even worse, but Gray tilted my head up to him and captured another whimper that was in the process of escaping my mouth.
Gray cupped my cheek before deepening the kiss that spread the flames of arousal to greater heights. He brushed his tongue against my own, groaning slightly that made me want to hear his approval over and over again.
I peeked over at Soren to see him watching us, making this whole thing that much hotter. His eyes were hooded, his hands were held together so tightly you could see the whites of his knuckles. Gray brushed his knuckles over my breast, making my eyes close, focusing on his touch. He kissed the corner of my mouth before kissing my jaw and down my neck.
“He loves to watch; let's give him a show?” Gray murmured so softly; I almost didn’t hear him.
I nodded, not trusting myself to be too loud. The thought of Soren squirming for us made me hungry to give him a show. Gray picked me up, depositing me on his lap with each leg on either side of his. My t-shirt dress rode up as I popped my back to push my butt out more.
