Page 39 of Lynch's Match

“We’re gonna go and let you two have some time alone together,” Angelina announces and gives me a hug while Ela gives Tiberce back to Lynch. “I’ll come by and check on you again tomorrow. Text me if you need anything before then.”

“Will do,” I say, nodding.

Moments later, Lynch and I are alone, and I settle deeper into him and sigh, thankful for the peace. As good as it feels to have everyone want to visit, I’m glad to be just the two of us now. Well, the three of us.

My little family.

“You good, baby?” he asks, getting off the bed to lay Tiberce in the little cradle the nurses brought in for him.

“I’m more than good,” I answer, smiling. “What about you?”

Lynch comes back to lay on the bed, pulls me in his arms, and presses a kiss to the side of my head. “I couldn’t be better. You need some rest. I’m sure little man is gonna be up soon enough ready to eat.”

He definitely will be, which was okay with me.

Anything to do with either man or son will always be okay with me. I want to be there for every moment. Cherish each and every minimal thing there is to be shared.

Lynch is my match, as I am his. Together, we finally found our peace. Together, we made it back to each other. Even when I didn’t think we ever would. All I had to do was let go of the guilt and the pain. I unchained the love I’ve always felt for this man and look forward to spending the rest of my life loving Lynch with all I have to give.
