Vex.
Holding me as if I’m tiny and precious, they cradle and kiss my head. Their lips are soft and caressing, filled with love.
They love me.
It’s not news, yet it feels so comforting to know that they do. They’re mine as much as I’m theirs.
“Such a good dove. You didn’t panic, taking my kisses so well.”
“They were perfect,” I whisper, my voice quiet and a little hoarse.
They continue their besitos, pressing them against my forehead, crown, and throat. I’ve learned early on that touch is how I receive any type of affection.
Even when we weren’t sexual, they learned how I needed aftercare, making sure to find the very thing that calmed me and brought me back.
“I never want to leave your arms,” I say, breathless. My words are so gentle, like if I’m loud, I’ll break this bubble. Being in their arms again is everything I missed.
“You’ve got to go seek our queen,” they nudge, nipping at my jaw. “I can feel her. She’s restless.” I peer up at them, seeking answers I’m unsure how to ask.
“I was starving,” they admit on an exhale, almost like they expect me to be angry that they share something so profound. I’m not. There’s a massive part of my heart that feels comforted, knowing we’re all irrevocably connected now. “She shoved her wrist in my face, the little minx.”
I giggle at the forlorn expression on their face. “I wasn’t ready to bond so soon. We haven’t even—” They pause, their voice choked up. Letting out a bereaved sigh, they pinch the bridge of their nose.
“It’s okay,” I comfort, holding onto their wrist, pulling it away from their face. “We still have a bond, mi amor. You’re mine, and I’m yours. You’re just hers too. How it’s supposed to be.”
“I know,” they say, softening the confused emotions flittering over their face. “It’s a bit overwhelming here.” They tap their chest, rubbing it absentmindedly, like it physically aches.
I sit up, cradling their face in my palms. They’re so warm, so open, a huge difference to where they were when we first fell into us.
“I’m honored to be your first. To be your last with Raev and Vera.”
They gnaw on their lip, their eyes meeting mine with passion and appreciation. “I love you Dulce, more than I thought possible for a creature of my age. There’s a beat beneath my ribcage built entirely for you. You’re the endless thrum in my veins and the softness beneath the surface. I ache when you’re far, much as I did before we caved into this bond.”
I kiss both of their cheeks, their closed eyes, stopping at their forehead and sitting there as affection bleeds from me and through our bond.
We’re connected forever.
I didn’t believe in fate, in love, and Vex has inadvertently taught me both in two simple weeks.
“And I love you,” I whisper, bringing our mouths together.
This moment is ours. Our lips connect slowly, their soft ones meeting mine in the slowest dance known to monster.
Their tongue presses against my mouth and I let them in, cherishing the gentle way they give themselves to me.
I’m a pain princess with Vex, someone who needs it to get off, but in this moment, it’s different.
It’s reverent and slow, their exploration of my skin they’ve touched a hundred times. Their kindness as they memorize my curves.
“I need to have you.” They nearly choke out the words. They’re emotional, almost like they’re lost in the sensations our bond is zapping between us.
“Then have me.”
Vex stands, bringing my body with them. Then they cup the backs of my thighs and squeeze, carrying me to the bed I fucked Raev in last night.
He’s not here, and I don’t stop to ask why. Vex probably asked for this moment alone before I became conscious.
The bed is plush as they lay me down, their body hovering over mine. Sweetness hits my nose as they lean toward me. Before, I never really put much thought into their scent, but it seems to have strengthened since last night.
