He’s troubled.
Not only over the sensations floating through the bond that don’t quite make sense. They’re fuzzy, like more unsettled and unclear than I’m used to, but also the result of meeting with his grandmother.

The horses whinny as we arrive at the cottage deep in the trees. It’s one floor, but massive. Outside are trinkets—shiny, laden in the grass like an invitation for something, or someone, specific.
