I feel the same way but can’t speak after the two most mind-blowing orgasms given to me. I lay next to him, trying to catch my breath.
Basking in the bliss of spent passion, I realize that I never want to be apart from him. This is where I belong and I never want to leave.
Epilogue
Jesse
"And Jesse Edison secures another win for the New York Giants!" screams the announcer with glee. My teammates run to hug me and almost tackle me down to the waxed court. I look at the scoreboard, satisfied that another season has successfully come to an end.
I struggle to my feet as my teammates shake each other. I turn towards the spectators and see Olivia in the front row looking as radiant as ever. I smile and blink back tears. She's as beautiful as she was the day I met her in that cabin five years ago. We got married soon after and it's been nothing but bliss.
"Daddy!" Isabella, our little girl waves. She starts to walk towards me and I catch her and hug her close.
"Hi Sweetie," I say, kissing her. I hug Olivia and set Isabella down on the floor. Olivia hugs me tight and kisses me. I kiss her back with all the longing I had felt being apart from her and Isabella since the season started.
"Give me a few minutes to change and we can get out of here."
"Aye aye Captain," She says and lifts Isabella, carrying her out of the court and towards the garage.
I dash to the locker room and quickly shower and get dressed. As soon as I step out of the locker room, I am besieged by tons of microphones and journalists wanting to ask me questions.
"What's the secret behind your winning streak, Jesse?" Says a petite redhead.
"That would be my wife and daughter who are waiting for me outside. See you later, guys." I weave my way through the mob of paparazzi and sprint to the garage.
As I drive my beautiful family home, I can't help but marvel at how different my life has become in the space of five years. I've granted more interviews than I ever thought I could and the sight of the press doesn't make me boil with rage any longer. Olivia is now the chief editor of Sportza and just signed a deal with the world's best footballer, Andre Orlando.
The next day, I head home after dropping Isabella at Olivia's parents' house. I almost can't contain my excitement. It's our wedding anniversary and I can't wait for Olivia to see what I got for us.
My phone rings and I press the button on my earphone.
"Jesse Edison."
"What's up, bro?"
"Hal! How're you doing Mr. CEO?"
"Great! Just wanted to wish you a happy anniversary and to remind you how much you owe me for turning you into a decent family man."
"Like I could ever forget. Thanks, man."
"So what are you getting for her?"
"It's a surprise."
"For her. But you can tell me."
"Nope." Smiling at how Hal would probably punch me in the guts if he were here.
"Ahh, you're no fun. Say hi to my niece for me.”
“I will. You should come and visit one of these days.”
“I will soon, I promise."
As I arrive home, I say my goodbyes to Hal. I ease into our spacious garage and dash into the house.
"Olivia?!" I look around as I remove my jacket. I head to the kitchen but she's nowhere in sight.
